Paying IV Fees by Mail - Is This Really My Only Option Right Now?

Anybody who paid their IV Fees this Sunday show paid yet? When I paid my AOS fee it posted and showed paid within a day. I paid Sunday and it's still showing in process. No biggie as I know it's supposed to take 2-4 days but just checking.

still have no luck on paying my IV Fee Online, agent said either i have to wait the system up which she don't know when or i have to mail my payment and wait 15 days for them to process it...whewwwww....sigh...

Question. Has your DS-261 been approved yet? I believe that's has to get approved before it lets you pay the IV Fee.

I paid by mail 2 weeks ago. They never sent me a receipt notice, so I called the NVC. They rejected my payment because i supposedly did not include my invoice, which ofcourse I did include. No wonder this happened, as they are so dissorganized. I just paid online.

11-10-14 : I-130 Sent
11-20-14 : NOA1 Received

02-09-15 : NOA2 Received
03-04-15 : NVC Received

04-14-15 : Submit DS-261

04-14-15: AOS Invoice Paid

05-01-15: Sent AOS & IV Package

05-05-15: Scan Date

06-05-15: Received checklist by email

07-07-15: IV Invoice Paid

Paid AOS last May 30, same day fill out ds-261. They approved after 10 days via phone and they give me an IV Invoice via email last June 19 & 22 since i have 2 cases. Untill now can't pay it online. I spoke with the agent last night she said i can send the payment thru mail within a week they reflect my payment so i can go ahead do the next steps which it to fill out the ds-260. I am not sure if i have to believe that it will only takes 1 week. But she mention that 15 days is just allowable amount of days since right now some issues were solve. Sigh...Maybe i have to send my payment thru mail today....

My IV bill was invoiced June 19 and I was able to pay online on Sunday, July 5 but, as of yet it doesn't say paid. I do see it pending on my bank account though I'm guessing once that's done then we'll be able to fill out the DS-260.

oh we're same date of IV Invoice, i don't know i've been trying every single day but i can't log in it says error. My dad AOS i paid that long time ago and it shows PAID, approved ds-261, i even get the IV Invoice but when i check last night it shows AOS - NOT INVOICED , weird.... IV Invoice shows $0.00. System still mess up in my case....

Maybe paying through mail will work right now. I noticed on this forum that other members who paid through mail and had their fees pending for months finally saw PAID on the website. They were then able to fill out their DS-260 as well.

It seems like their system is working right now. It may be that your case is having technical problems so you may have to pay through mail and wait for the PAID.

Hey Laz,

I paid the IV fee on Sunday and it is still IN PROCESS for me as well. All these website issues have got me checking that portal multiple times a day now. I know it is still in the normal range of time but I can't help feeling antsy!

I also paid on sunday, its still says "in process", But yea most probably by tomorrow it shall show as paid. My AOS took 2 days i believe to show as paid

I called nvc right now, and the agent said it might take 7 days to process..and that i just paid on 5th so i should give it few more days to see it as 'paid'. :(

I bet you they're behind as probably thousands of people were finally able to pay their IV Fees online. I paid July 5th and I just saw that the payment pending with my bank (that's good news). Hopefully it will be soon so I can start the DS-260.

Assistance for Applicants Experiencing Technical Difficulties

IV Applications Now Accessible Online via CEAC.gov

7/6/2015

Immigrant visa applications on the Department of State’s Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) are now accessible to the majority of applicants who need to submit Form DS-261 Choice of Address and Agent and Form DS-260 Immigrant Visa Application online, and pay their visa fees online.

Technical specialists will continue to work on the National Visa Center’s immigrant visa database over the next week. While most applicants should now be able to access the required forms on CEAC, if you are still having difficulty we recommend that you wait at least 24 hours and try again. You can also continue to follow the instructions below.

We expect there could be heavy traffic on CEAC over the next several days as applicants attempt to submit their forms and pay their fees online. Thank you for your patience as the Department continues to resolve recent technical problems with our consular systems.
