TURIST VISA NEED HELP/INFO RGDS DATE STAMPED ON PASSPORT AT ENTRY

HI!

Not sure I will be able to get any help.

But I am trying to figure out...

some history for referece:

My mom has a turist visa from Ecuador (5 year visa)

She has visited twice before

She entered US on 6/13/15 and her passport got stamped with that date as "date of admittance"

She plans to stay 23 days

However, there is another date "6/20/15" also stamped by itself.

questions are:

Does that mean she MUST go back on the 20th?

How can we get that changed?

A relative told us we have to go to the airport TONIGHT and talk to a "customs representative" and try to get that date (6/20/15) changed. And that if we do not take care of this, she a)has to go back on the 20th or b)would risk not being allowed to enter another time if she stays longer

I think it was just an error, but I am also getting concerned by what our relative says.

Any help/guidance is hugely appreciated!!!!

go online and review the electronic I-94 record, as _this_ is the document that governs her stay.

• I just tried to get her "most recent I-94"
• Said "not found"
• IF given the case that they actually meant to stamp "6/20/15" ... would it make a difference to go to the airport and get try to get the date changed??

I am panicking and dont know what is best to do. I cant believe they would actually only allow her to stay 20 days..

Give it a couple of days and check her online I-94 again.
