Hi everyone!

I did not want to hijack the similar thread on this so I created this thread. I am the petitioner and make over $100k. Do I need to fill out both the I-134 and I-864 to give to my fiancee for her embassy interview?

Thanks in advance!

your petition has not yet gone to NVC/your instructions on form and when to do them will come from NVC after they receive your packet

They are asking in advance so he can be prepared.

OP: I am sure someone from the Philippines will chime in soon.

You need the I-134 for Manila. Instructions for Manila can be found on their consulate website. You will need the I-864 later for AOS after you are married.

NVC sends no instructions or packets to a K-1 applicant. Instructions and packets come from the consulate.

So how's the consulate going to recieve it? Do we send the income tax along with the affidavit of support to the consulate before interview date? or is it during the interview they ask to see it for the first time?

You only need the I-134 for the interview. You also need the most recent tax return (all pages) or tax return transcript. The I-864 is used later on when your fiancée is in the US and adjusting status.

You take the I-134, along with other required documents, with you to the interview.

It is sent to the foreign fiance(e) and taken to the K-1 visa interview. Your profile flag shows Israel, so check the Jerusalem consulate's website for info > http://photos.state.gov/libraries/jerusalem/5/pdfs/Packet%204%20for%20K%20applicants%20June%202014.pdf
