Saw this for all those at USEM.....

SYSTEM MAINTENANCE JUNE 2015

"....Applications for a U.S. visa made after June 8, 2015, are also affected by this delay. Nonimmigrant visa applicants who did not submit their DS-160 online application prior to June 9, 2015, should reschedule their interview appointments......"

"If you filled out and submitted your DS-160 online application on or before June 8, 2015, you may proceed to the Embassy on your interview date. However, due to technical delays, we will not be able to process your visa in a timely manner."

I'm sort of relieved to hear that they managed to find a solution to part of the problem, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that visas will be sorted out soon.

Oh no :( my interview and approval was just a week today, 9th of June - which is the date from which they say we may experience delays.

So sad about this, been in a long distance relationship for four and a half years and we were so happy to see a clear end to the wait... and there will be plenty of people who have waited even longer than us in the same situation! I'll let you guys know when I receive my visa - hopefully soon!

anything new of when its going to be up n running im so ready to go home

Not yet; just that they have the system to issue US passports overseas up and running (since two days now, I think), so that's a positive sign at least.

Good news is, "We do not believe these problems stem from any cyber-security hacking issues."

Bad news is"Some visa applicants will experience delays in receiving visas. Others will be contacted directly to reschedule their appointments."

Oh, let it not be a reschedule in Kabul!

I am just really confused that I've seen that only non immigrants visas would be affected.. but people are saying that immigrants one, like CR-1, are being affected too..
