Yeah, unfortunately after "Ready" it will say, "Administrative Processing" at the top, but mine only said that for a day. Then it turns to "Issued". Not sure why the dates change like that, but my update date did stay the same for like a week until changing to AP. So dizzdemey, you are most likely not be in AP yet :( But hopefully when you are, it will be quick like we've seen with others! :)

No mine says Administrative Processing on the top. Before it still said Ready but they just changed the case creation date and the message on the bottom. I assume if you see that at least the message has changed, that means they're working on your case somehow, and that's a good thing.

The creation date changes because once it is approved, they change it from immigrant visa to non immigrant visa. You still check under immigrant on CEAC , but when you open the document it will say non immigrant on top. AP is good, means they are getting it ready to print.

For gee whiz information you can check it under immigrant using your number as usual but you can also check it under nonimmigrant option using the barcode number (application id) from the DS-160 sheet....found that out messing around one day. The information is the same though.

Probably a moot point in all this, but mine has always said nonimmigrant.

So I just checked CEAC this afternoon, thinking there would be no change today and saw my case creation and status update dates have changed to today with the message that my case is ready for interview/fingerprints/documents and if I've already had my interview to wait two business days - completely new message from the 'ready for interview' one I had before!

Could anyone please tell me what this means - the message and the change of case creation date? I got my hopes up seeing a different message, but I just want to be sure!

I'm not sure. I'll ask jayjayhas, we met at the interview so we've been corresponding. She got her waybill# already, I'll get back to ya!

Sounds good, ill hang tight. Youre been amazingly helpful, thanks a million

So she said that her waybill # started with letters like GKN1234 or something like that, so it's different than the case number.

Dammit, i was hoping i could get ahead of the "waiting game" by checking the waybill based on my case number but i guess not. Still twiddling our thumbs this afternoon, no change in status yet. Grrrrr

Good afternoon all,

Firstly I am after some constructive comments or positive opinions only please. We started this process in January last year. .

I am absolutely desperate. I was hoping to fly out this Thursday to California with my family as my wedding celebration is next Friday over there. We really don't want to cancel it.

I had my visa approved on June 30th but received a yellow form as had the wrong police check. Had this in my hand within a few days and the embassy received it today Australian time at midday. Have sent many emails and tried calling but you cant call Sydney.

I just want them to stamp my passport and send it to me in Melbourne or if I could even he my passport temporarily back or something.....

Does anyone have any advice on how to get it processed quicker or anything at all. .

Even knows someone who works there or anything. .

Thank you
