Whew! I was worried there for a minute and confused.

Thank you! I live in Ottawa so I am really hoping I don't have to wait long. It's only a 1.5 hr from from Montreal. Wouldn't it be nice if I received it either tomorrow or Monday!

Do you get an email that it's been picked up via courier or only when it's arrived at it's location?

Congrats! Booking your flight soon?

At what time did you get the update? Local time? I'm just trying to see if we can hope for an update even at after office time and during weekend local time. Not sure whether the update comes from US or each embassy.

Err sorry I think too much ?

Mine just got issued, but there is this below my "issued" status and I'm not sure what it means because I was told at my interview that I was approved already... :-s

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. As the officer told you in the interview, if further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved when administrative processing is finished, you will receive notification to collect the passport with the visa from the Loomis branch you selected when you booked your appointment.[/size]

Does anyone know what that means? or is that just a standard message for everyone?

CONGRATULATIONS!! So happy for you. Issued means ISSUED.. Don't stress about the rest of the verbiage. It's normal.

That's pretty standard for everybody. That's where I'm at right now.

Anybody ever get any updates or something later in the day? Almost feels like if they don't touch your case first thing in the morning they're not touching your case...

I'll be driving, so no need to book a flight. Gonna start packing my car this weekend.

I checked my computer around 8:45am EST and it already showed as being "Issued"

Ok so case creation date updated, no visa issued and the embassy is now closed through Monday. I guess I have to postpone the wedding :(

Have you sent any line of inquiry toward the embassy? Or got back in touch with the NVC? Our CEAC status changed today, and I'm a little suspicious that me inquiring with the embassy yesterday caused/reminded them to send our letter out.

Monday I contacted the embassy then sent an email request. I just can't believe I'm left hanging now for a 3 day weekend and postponing the wedding

Are you able to see any updates on the dashboard if you login to ustraveldocs?

I've never even used that site before. Would this be where my fiancé in London logs into?

London K1 doesn't use that site so sadly it doesn't apply.

So after checking your respective region, I found that you may have had to create an account as described in this URL

http://london.usembassy.gov/iv/courier.html

Does it have a dashboard or something like that, that gives you updates?
