Looks like this was an article from last week. It just says it was "updated June 22".. There has been many people posting that they are witnessing progress and some visas have been issued. I would not let that article lower our spirits !

Update for June 22: Hello, everyone. Thank you for you patience today. You can read the full text of today's update on our website, linked below.

As you are aware, we are still in the process of resolving technical problems with our visa systems. Though some progress has been made, biometric data processing has not been fully restored.

As of noon today, 22 posts have been reconnected, representing about half of the global nonimmigrant visa volume. All our servers appear to bestable. There is a large backlog of cases to clear, but we have already made good progress. We will continue to bring additional posts online until connectivity with all posts is restored.

Our team continues to work on this 24/7 to restore the systems to full functionality. We are striving to have the system fully connected sometime this week.

We deeply regret the inconvenience to you, and we recognize the hardship to those of you who are waiting for visas, your family members, and your employers in the United States.

K so I just posted before.. Did everyone miss it? Lol. (Not to the above posts but on the previous page hahah.) My friends cousin got her k1 visa today, so it IS still possible for them to be issued this week, depending on how quickly they clear the backlog. They mentioned, as the above post says, that they are continuing to restore the connection to the other half of the consulates, I'm assuming, but half are fixed and receiving visas (ie: my consulate, Ecuador).

By the way- your embassies will have the same update as the travel gov website. Just sayin cause everyone seems to keep posting what their embassy is saying when it's the same thing. You're going to get better updates from travel gov.

I agree, but since we don't know which 22 posts are back up and running having people post specific to their embassy could be helpful.

You're right, BUT our embassy is apparently one of the 22 (as I mentioned, a friend of ours' cousin just got her k1 visa) and has the same message as usual. So I'm not sure we'll hear much different from our embassies.

So my fiancee went in for her interview Monday Morning and apparently due to some technical issues, they were unable to access her DS-160 and so she had to reschedule her interview and it's now going to be another month before she can come. Sucks we had a ticket purchased so gotta pay to reschedule that and apparently airlines charge $200 to change a ticket -_-

Anywho, has anyone else been hit by this? :ranting:
