Ya know, I'm just going to complain and get some stuff off my chest.
So I'm working last week and get dispatched to a call of 'Suspicious Activity.' Ya'll wanna know what the suspicious activity was? Someone walking around in the dark with a flashlight and crow bar? Nope. Someone walking into a bank with a full face mask on? Nope.
It was two black males who were jump starting a car at 930 in the morning. That was it. Nothing else. Someone called it in.
People. People. People. If you're going to be a racist, stereotypical jerk...keep it to yourself. Don't call the police and make them get involved into your douchebaggery.
That's all. End rant.

there's a small town uproar going on right now over some retired folks who insist the kids who's bus stop is near their front lawn, have been vandalizing their home every morning while waiting for the bus. apparently they call the school who tells them to call the cops and the cops send them back to the school. of course, the school and the cops are both perplexed since they don't even know what actual vandalism has occurred. anyway, the couple decided the only way to get some action was to contact the local paper, which they did and gave an interview in which the missus tells the reporter that since she's not getting any help from the cops/school everybody involved needs to know that she got her cc permit and she will be packin heat for bus time from now on..

needless to say, the article hasn't had the affect they were hoping for..

High school I graduated from has 2 or more detail cops on duty every morning before school starts and every afternoon when it gets out to make sure no gang fighting breaks out. Let's just say things have changed in my old town.

yeah, there's a resource cop in my son's middle school. i don't think it's necessary, personally. they could use a couple more guidance counselors though..
