Rachel Dolezal, the NAACP leader who resigned Monday after it was revealed she pretended to be black, reportedly sued Howard University in 2002 accusing them of discriminating against her because she was a white woman.

Dolezal, then known as Rachel Moore, sued the historically black college after she graduated with a Master of Fine Arts degree alleging discrimination 'based on race, pregnancy, family responsibilities, and gender,' according to court documents obtained by The Smoking Gun.

She alleged that the university denied her teaching positions and a scholarship. She also claimed that a university official removed some of her artwork from a student exhibition in order to 'favor African-American students over' her.

Well, his wife is certain,

and she takes over his gear sometimes and posts on VJ,

so maybe Su will come around in the evening there in Hawaii and post something in a reply back to yer post.

Over the past 3 years though, Marvin has given you and me the smack-down. I am certain, know fo sure, that Marvin is black. What's preventing you from making the same assessment?

Has been reported she sued Howard University for ANTI-WHITE policy five years before she started to pretend she was black...

It is interesting to read the actual court papers and then read the press take on them - Some of them are not even close.

She did sue about a teaching position but didn't just claim race, she said it was because of her race, gender, family responsibilities, and pregnancy.. My biased white-male brain said "Ah, she missed a lot of work and when she got into trouble she cried foul and brought out the poor-me book"

She also sued for several other things, one being no scholarship aid money which it turned out she did receive.

The only specific mention of an anti-white policy was when her artwork was removed from a student exposition and she filed a complaint saying it was due to them being motivated to display artwork from an African American.

She lost her case and appeal and had to pay the schools legal fees and fined an additional 1,000 for avoiding a doctor who was to verify some of her medical claims.

Ok, I see what you meant. That's why plenty of black women are rightfully upset about her deception. She could have obtained her job position and everything else without doing this. But as groundbreaking as it might seem, most black people have seen this before, just not on this large of a scale.

I know plenty of women and men who try real hard to copy our mannerisms and lifestyle because they're romanticized what it means to be black in America.

I see a lot of these traits in lib's posts.

Now we find she plagiarized a painting by Turner!!

Rachel Dolezal, the NAACP leader who resigned on Monday after it was revealed that she had pretended to be black, has now been outed as a plagiarist.

According to her art blog, Dolezal is 'an award-winning Mixed Media Artist,' but she has had accusations of plagiarism levelled against her in relation to at least one of her pieces.

The similarities between Dolezal's acrylic paintings The Shape of Our Kind and J.M.W. Turner's 1840 work The Slave Ship are astounding.
