Ok may we both get amazing news tomorrow!!

Exactly the same as she told me just now, lol.

Said it had been escalated to a higher department on July 3, and I should hear back within 24 hours. If not, call tomorrow afternoon.

I guess that's something.

I think so, she definitely had an Asian accent of some sort.

I think we must have pushed her patience with our IV status requests, haha!

It's the visa category. now I recall she didn't had any info to give back at all. She asked me passport no and not case no and all of our names but only keyed them in for record. She had no feedback, coz traveldocs don't deal with spouse visas. That's ok. in either case you guys shouldn't have to wait for visa if there is no system issues

Has anyone going through Montreal actually received notification from Loomis and if so how long before you were able to pick it up or have it delivered? Mainly looking for info on CR1's as it seems we have a number of people who were in "Issued" status. Just wondering if things have actually been printed for the immigrant visas...

June 22: CR-1 Interview at Montreal Consulate = Approved

July 6: E-mailed Consulate as status has been 'Ready" since Interview with same date

July 7: Case Status as "Ready" and Date Updated

July 13: E-mailed, no update again

July 13: Case Status as "Ready" and Date Updated

July 24: E-mailed again, no update

July 24: Case Status as "Ready" and Date Updated

July 27: Date Updates by itself still "Ready"

July 28: Get Email from Montreal US Consulate requesting to go back and redo fingerprints

July 28: Drive halfway to Montreal

July 29: Get to Montreal

July 30 (8am): Redo fingerprints, consular officer apologizes for having us comeback for fingerprints, issues us the Visa on the spot

July 30 (3pm): VISA in HAND!

August 3: Florida move!

based on another canadian vj-er =- hers was issued (final processing) June 26th - then she got the email from Loomis on Thu 2nd July that they had picked it up from the Consulate and then the following day it was at the Loomis location ready for pick up Fri 3rd July. So based on this timeline I am guessing it takes a full week. Hoping I hear something either today or tomorrow!
