Haha well there is a guy from this thread that got his passport back for the spousal visa and on the Facebook page I've also seen many ppl from India say their status is on issue. Of course many of them applied for non immigrant visas. But anyways there really is no rhyme to it huh? :/

I can only speculate from observation and from what people post here but it appears that NIV's are progressing faster because they generate income and or potential loss.

Yes i am from india visa category cr1 interview june 16 got my passport with visa today flying tomorrow night

Interview 6/15, changed to AP today, thank God! By the way- I believe it's not the embassies that are taking their time changing to AP.. It's DOS! But they're finishing the 30,000 left today, hopefully. We were one of them, of course! Says ~2 business days to get if no docs need to be sent! Good luck toy everyone!

K-1 Visa

♥ 10/2/14- I-129F form sent
♥ 10/3/14- USCIS received I-129F
♥ 10/7/14- NOA1
♥ 4/24/15- NOA2 [6.5 months; 199 days]
♥ 5/11/15- NVC received & case number assigned
♥ 5/13/15- NVC left
♥ 5/14/15- Consulate received & ready for interview
♥ 6/15/15- Interview- APPROVED!!

♥ 7/10/15- Visa in hand

♥ 7/11/15- POE

♥ 7/14/15- Marriage (Civil)

AOS

♥ 7/20/15- AOS/EAD/AP sent together

♥ 7/23/15- NOA1 for all 3

♥ 8/17/15- Biometrics

♥ 8/31/15- Expedited AP document (all in one day)

♥ 9/22/15- EAD NOA2

♥ 9/30/15- Received EAD/AP combo card

♥ 11/20/15- AOS NOA2 (no interview)

♥ 11/25/15- Green card received! Woohoo!!!

Our was changed to AP today as well .. I'm confused now because they told us we were approved at the interview no docs were missing. Is this normal!?

What that means is is that they do the biometric processing and make sure no extra docs are needed, I believe. If they are, they contact you. If not, your visa gets issued. It explains it on the CEAC site.

K-1 Visa

yup I think that's their SOP but we were never asked for any other documents.

My too change to AP this morning , I hope to get issued soon ,interview was june 8

Having read through nearly the entire thread, I've seen very little mention of the US Embassy in Frankfurt.

Anyone else here with an approved K1 via Frankfurt awaiting delivery? We were approved morning of June 9...

Mine updated yesterday to 6/23 and now again to 6/30 but still admin processing .????

same here ... interview was 16th in DR ... last AP update was on the 22nd ... now have todays date but still AP ... I know of two people one from VJ and a non member from the 18th interviewed and have issued visas ... no order I guess .. but hope this week the do a mega catch up for all of us.
