First name spelling change

I have a rather peculiar query. I wil be coming to US on a fiance visa. On all of my educational and professional documents the spellings of my name is Ayesha while on my passport and visa it is Aisha. I believe this is going to be a problem for me when I apply for jobs or for further education. my question is how soon can I apply for a name change keeping my maiden sur name but with a different spelling of Aisha to Ayesha?

Can I do it during the status change process or do I have to wait for the green card?

Can you get your name changed in Pakistan so that they could fix your passport? It's fairly simple to change your name once you get here too. But if you can get it done before hand then it might be a less hassle for you.

Also if it helps, I think the spelling would not be a big deal as far as jobs and education are concerned. Plenty of people here have legal names that they don't use or prefer to go by nicknames. Just explaining the situation that the spelling there gets mixed up a lot would not be too confusing. Change the name if you don't like the spelling but don't worry too much about it being confusing.
