RFE At AOS Interview.

Hi VJ members, I went for my aos interview last month and I was given a rfe at the end of the interview. The Interviewing officer told us that everything was fine and she will approve the case after the rfe submission.

The rfe was about a copy of my wife's previous divorce decree which has been sent to the Uscis office where we were interviewed about a week ago. My question is have anybody had this experience before, and how long does it take for uscis to approve the case after receiving the rfe. Your responses will be appreciated and Thank you in advance.

We received an RFE for my husband's divorce decree. We didn't have an interview, but they asked us to send the RFE to Guam . We aren't sure why it went there, since there are so many offices that adjucate things here. At any rate, we sent it on May 27, 2015. It was received by the Guam office on June 2, 2015 (according to the tracking information), and I checked the USCIS site on June 4, and we were approved. We received the Welcome to the US NOA this week.
