Every case will be different, however my fiancé case got approved on April 2nd and NVC didn't received it until the 21st and within 2 days we had our case number and it arrived in Jamaica on the 27th. It all depends on how fast NVC moves so goodluck with the rest of your journey!!

I called Friday 6/5 and they told me they had received the case that day, but was not in the system. I called tonight and was able to get my Case number. Can't check status yet online, but hopefully it will be sent out this week

For us it was 7 days from the day they assigned the case number until we received the "packet 3" email.

My case was approve 21 july and case status sent to nvc 28 july .when can i call nvc for my case number ?

About 5 days for me...but then I went into AP for the next 20 days but as you can tell it varies. I have seen as little as 3 days assigned case and sent to NVC
