Oath ceremony

Is there some schedule for periodic oath ceremonies for a given district office? I live in san diego and have my interview on 27th feb. my 5 year GC anniversay is 8th march and trying to fingure out when would be the oath.

Only one oath ceremony that I know of is if and when you file, and pass the test and requirements of citizenship, and become a naturalized citizenship, you swear an oath 1 time to become an US citizen.

You go to a Naturalization ceremony to say the oath - he wants to know when his will be.

I have no idea if they have a set schedule or not, probably the San Diego office can tell you.

In some places the citizenship ceremonies are held at a federal courthouse - but I'm guessing San Diego does enough that it won't work to check the courthouse docket and they probably do them at the USCIS offices... but maybe this will help someone else

They will either send you to the oath ceremony the same day, or they'll send you a notice telling you when your oath ceremony will be. They have several each month. Mine was at the federal court house and I got sent a notice, while my friend had hers the same day. Interview in the am and ceremony in the pm. That's in Portland, but I'm sure other places handle it similarly.

They won't let you take the oath until you're eligible, if that is what you are asking.

See if, at your interview, you can find out when the next ceremony is after March 8 and tell the officer that you're eager & can they get you in that one.
