It took me 6 yrs. of trying to have my daughter. I had her when I was 35.

My husband thinks of her as his own but it would have been nice for him to experience being the natural father. He just turned 40 and has never had kids. Unfortunetly I'm too old now (45) :( Too bad though !

I would LOVE to has his baby.

Nov. 25th/05 recieved EAD card

Nov.30th. recieved AP Papers in mail

Dec. 08th/05 Recieved Snail mail letter for AOS Interview Feb 15th 7:40 AM.

Feb. 15th. /06 AOS Interview SUCCESS !!!! no more to deal with for another 2 yrs!

Feb. 27th./06 Recieved Greencard in the mail

August 4th/06 Our First Wedding Anniversary !!

Feb. 8th 08 Sent in Packet to remove conditions

Feb 23rd 08 Recieve NOA letter stating they are extending my Greencard for another year.

March 11th 08 biometrics appt.

May 29th 08 recieved email stating Card production ordered

June 7th 2008 10 yr card recieved.

I am 33 and hubby is 30

I think his parents and grandparent biological clock is ticking louder than ours because every other phone call is " Is she pregnant yet???

And lets not forget "Will I become a great grandmother before I die?" question

Also my hubby's parents don't have grandchildren as he is the eldest and only married child

8/28/08 -------> Called USCIS was told biometrics scheduled for Sept 12 @ 3 pm

9/02/08 -------> Received NOA 1 showing receipt date as August 22, 2008

9/02/08 -------> Received bio appt by snail mail verifying scheduled date as 9/12 @ 3 pm

9/12/08 -------> Fingerprints taken

12/16/08------> Interview @ 10:05 am [PASSED]; OAth given at 2 pm

I would make my mother's first gandchild - but she just became a great aunt! I can't believe my mother is a great aunt...that is so weird! I remember my own childhood so clearly that it's difficult to think of my mother well on the way to her 60's! I remember the big hoo-ha when she turned 40! God... :o

FEB 20th 2009 - Received email - GC on the way!

I will also have the first grandchild for my parents. (Sujeet's parents already have 3 granddaughters from other kids.)

My parents are just around 50 now, not too bad. :P But they are looking forward to being grandparents very much. Hopefully soon!

Im 36 and dear hubby (though right now Im kinda upset with him... so not so dear)... is 39...

We've been trying for a couple of months, so we'll see when it happens...

My parents already have 5 grandkids. It would be Javier's parents first grandchild. My mom and dad don't really say anything to us about it since they have grandchildren already. But Javier's mom and dad can't wait for us to have kids. It puts a little pressure on us but since they are both in Mexico it's not too bad. I just wish it would happen for us already.
