A bit of a stupid question....Should you start taking the Prenantals before you get pregnant?

Yes. I have read many places it's better to start taking them while you are trying to conceive because it helps supply your body with nutrients that can help even at conception.

I started taking them in October, even though we didn't start trying til Jan.

They don't upset my stomach, but I always take them with a meal. Mine aren't prescription, they are Target brand.

You two are trying to get pregnant? I am soooo freaking excited. It seems like one of my closest friends is getting pregnant even though we've only known each other on VJ. But you are one of the "first ones" on here just like me. I am sooo excited!!!

Awww thanks Stefanie! :D That's sweet. I haven't written about it on my blog because my uncle reads it and he doesn't know we are actively trying(otherwise you might have been able to read about it there). If he knew he'd tell his whole family. And I'd rather wait to surprise them when we are finally pregnant then them asking me about it. :P

I think my husband and I miscalculated a bit and missed our opportunity this month. I have always been irregular, so it may be more difficult for us to really know when is the "right" time....

Savanphil… CONGRATULATIONS!!! Its’ wonderful news! I know I will be scared also whenever I get pregnant, even if you’re trying it has to be scary! I guess like Tracy said, it’s supposed to be scary… (at first)… and please don’t worry about the things that can go wrong. I guess it’s also inevitable, but you have to think positive, because your little baby can feel all those emotions, and you don’t want him/her to be scared… right? So positive thoughts!! Feed happiness into that lil one growing inside you!

On the other hand, just wanted to let you girls know, that it’s a no-go for me this month. I am a bit saddened, but not overly upset. Looking at the positive side, I guess I don’t have to worry about that Bailey’s I had last weekend…:)
