Just saying hi...

I did horrible while away on my trip with temping, I didn't do it. I have been doing it faithfully for 4 months now, but I am in the last part of the waiting period before knowing one way or the other and didn't even feel like temping those days. I am getting slightly aggrevated even though we haven't even been trying that long. It's another patience builder I guess.

I just got soooo annoyed today seeing a girl who we know, who is pregnant AGAIN, unmarried, not even wanting kids, young, irresponsible, etc. I have to learn to not be so angry about those situations. But when it's a teenager or something, it makes me so annoyed.

Marilyn, Lizzie, Ana and all others here, I hope you find out you are pregnant soon!!

I know what you mean.... I get really annoyed when I see parents totally take their kids for granted etc ... :wacko:

well, let the waiting begin.... my monthly is supposed to start any day now.... I am still a little nervous about being pregnant again but I do want to have a child with my hubby so bad....

I can totally understand you. Since we started 'trying', I've known of at least 3 girls back home that got pregnant and dont want to have babies. But go figure, I am not really religious, but I do believe that everything is in God's hands, and whenever he decides, then it will happen.

As for me, I have been temping and charting, I used ONE of the OPK tests, when did I ovulate? I really dont know since I dont think I have been doing it right (my bad, I know). I will have to get better at it this next month. Meanwhile I tried to make good use of the 'window', however, since I was travelling and now Rob is working two jobs, it has been kinda difficult this cycle.

I dont think it will happen this month, so I'm out until next one... (which by the way, is gonna catch me travelling again, and coming back on my forecasted ovulation day). We'll see...

Good luck to all, and please come by every once in a while... :)

ETA: Marilyn... dont worry, it'll be ok, just be optimistic, think positive so the little one feels the good vibes...:)

Well, it looks like we nailed the nail on its head. :D Ana was like a week past her time, we bought an ept (clear something), and tsted positive. :D Now we are scrambling to find an obgyn.

OH! I remembered reading about you guys trying to find an ob/gyn.... if Ana isn't on prenatals yet, go to her primary physician and s/he can prescribe those for her...

and don't get pushed into those 40- 50$ prenatals, generic 10$ prenatals in combination with folic acid pills bought separate comes out cheaper

Just to give y'all some perspective on this:

My co-worker and her husband had been trying to have a baby for years. She finally got pregnant, carried the baby to term, but 1 week before his due date, the placenta ruptured and the baby died before they could get him out. It was devastating and heartbreaking.

They tried for 3 years after that to get pregnant again, with no luck. Finally, they basically decided to give up. Eventually, my co-worker noticed some funny symptoms, so she went to the doctor. She was almost 3 months pregnant and she had no idea! Now they have a beautiful baby boy.

My sister and her husband tried for 5 years to have a baby. She had 2 miscarriages, and kept trying, and eventually went to a fertility specialist to see what was wrong. They did some tests, tried a few things, but nothing seemed to work. She had an appointment to go back to the specialist to discuss in vitro or something more radical, and the doctor ran the bloodwork to get everything started and discovered she was pregnant! She had a baby girl, Isabel, on Saturday. She is over the moon and we are all ecstatic.

During the time in between, we all had those thoughts about why some people get pregnant so easily, and others have such a difficult time. I don't really know the answer to that, but I do know that miracles DO happen. Don't lose hope!

@ivona: yeah, we decided to cancell with this obgyn and goahead with the regular doc's visit. that was great advice. I will pass it on to Ana. In the mantime we will be searching for obgyn.

the regular doctor might be able to refer you to a OBGYN....

yeah, we hope so. part of the problem isthat my insurance contracts with different medical groups and your obgyn must be in the same group as your primary care physician. and the group we belong to, their obgyns are mostly in the downtown area and we live in the outlying suburbs. we were hoping to find a local obgyn.

Then, Ana's benefits at her job start in May at yet another insurance/medical group. bleah.
