I started taking my temperature this month... however... I dont think how reliable it's going to be because I am travelling now to Europe, and the difference in time and all that... I dont know...

I'll have to rely on the OPK this month...

what is the word on early pregnancy tests?

recommendations?

are you ladies seeing a doc allready even though not yet preggers?

what happens if you are preggres? I mean, what is the standard course of action once one finds out she is preggers?

if you think you are pregnant, you should see your OB/GYN (if you dont have one, find one ;) )... you will need to begin prenatal care as soon as possible... you should be taking prenatal vitamins and folic acid... and be aware of the foods that you should avoid while pregnant... the first trimester (the first 3 months) is a critically important development period...

if you arent pregnant, but want to be... you should also get established with an OB/GYN and find out what you can do to help with succeeding with a pregnancy...

there is also a wealth of info on the net... just be careful to get it from a reliable source... there are many, but here is a site that has info on each part of pregnancy, from trying to conceive to actually raising your child: http://www.babycenter.com/preconception

Well...

I am back from the trip, went to Austria and Italy (business so I didnt get to see much). I was good at taking my temps, I sorta kinda skipped sunday because by the time I got to Vienna it was around noon, so no sense in temping... but all the other days I took my temp.

Now (and I know I ask dumb questions). I understand that I have to take my temps in the mornings, does it make any difference if I get out of bed to get the thermometer? Since I was staying in hotels, every day I put my stuff back in the suitcase, so every morning, I'd get out of bed, take my temp and chart. The one day that I thought about it the night before, the temperature was a lot lower...

Now that I am home, I will start doing it before getting out of bed... this is sorta trial and error I guess, every month I'll get better at it I suppose (and I hope I dont have to do this for a lot of months!!)...

Anyhoo, I didnt bring my OPK's to the trip, but today it's suppose to start that window of fertile days, I took one test and it was positive, so I know the LH surge is there. With my disastrous attempts at charting my temp this month I dont know if I will be able to know which day I actually ovulated. But as someone said here.... gotta make the most of the opportunity.... so here we go again this month! Wish us luck....:)

Well I think i will join in to. If thats ok :)

Me and hubby have been trying for a year NO LUCK as yet.. we did fall pregnany last april but we miscarriead. I use the clear blue ovulation kits. I find them really good too!

Spoke with my doc in UK he says i have not got pregnant by next month i have to go home fertity testing.. ack

March 4th: APPROVED

March 17th: NVC posted file to London

March 20th: London Receives file

April 19th: Medical - June 13th: INTERVIEW......APPROVED!!!!

June 20th: ARRIVE IN USA

Time taken for whole process 9 Months

Time taken for AOS - 3.5 Months

Finished for 2 years.

Just saying hi...

I did horrible while away on my trip with temping, I didn't do it. I have been doing it faithfully for 4 months now, but I am in the last part of the waiting period before knowing one way or the other and didn't even feel like temping those days. I am getting slightly aggrevated even though we haven't even been trying that long. It's another patience builder I guess.

I just got soooo annoyed today seeing a girl who we know, who is pregnant AGAIN, unmarried, not even wanting kids, young, irresponsible, etc. I have to learn to not be so angry about those situations. But when it's a teenager or something, it makes me so annoyed.

Marilyn, Lizzie, Ana and all others here, I hope you find out you are pregnant soon!!
