Sorry I don't know much about Chaste berry or those other things you mentioned. Last month AF decided to play games and come 4 days late, which never happens to me, and I guess sometimes that just happens. It is very annoying though, when you are late and still seeing negatives and really want to see a positive. Hope you get an answer soon!

It’s ok, it’s just disappointing, but it shouldn’t be new, you know? I had a feeling it was the Chaste Berry pills, and not a baby on it’s way. The thing is that when you’re usually regular, one day seems like a HUGE thing. With all that went on this cycle, I probably should be grateful that it wasn’t a positive. Chaste Berry is suppose to regulate your periods, but it has also proven to improve fertility.

As you know I haven’t done the OPK thingie yet, I have been charting, though not my temps. Do you temp yourself during all cycle? I guess you should. I’ll start the heavy artillery this month. I don’t want to be obsessed by this though. I think that doesn’t help. We also starting eating healthier, and after my trip next week, we’ll start exercising.

My friend said, just diet, loose some weight, when you’re all dolled up, you’ll get pregs’, that’s how it works, when you start looking awesome and you definitely don’t want to gain weight, it’ll happen…LOL.

I guess it all goes back to something that takes your mind off it…

Yeah, you have to take the temps all cycle if you want to see the pattern. It's best to start on the first day of your period. The daily temp should go up after ovulation, which lets you know what day you ovulated as it would be the last day of lower temps before the higher temps started.

If I ovulate this month it should be happening any day now. Then I'll be in the dreaded 2ww. I hate that time. I'll keep everyone posted.

Have you considered trying the clearblue fertility monitor? It's pretty expensive but that was the only thing that worked for me after trying for one year. I did everything from the strips, the chaste berry. Once I bought the monitor I found out that my cycle wasn't 28-30 days long, it was 37 days long. I was able to get pregnant right away with the monitor, unfortunately I had to get pregnant three times before I could finally carry the baby to term. Our adorable son will be 8 months old in April. I feel your pain and frustration.

I don't think I ovulated this month, yet again. I've had so much stress lately, I probably didn't. I haven't had any signs of ovulation so I'm just figuring this month is a bust. Not even going to stress myself out about it.

I just bought my first OPK, and I didnt find a Basal Thermometer so I bought a regular digital one, I read somewhere that it didnt really matter. Since I am leaving tomorrow on a trip, I'll start with that one. I thought about buying the Clear Blue, but it was pricey, and since it's my first time, I wanted to start simple.

If it doesnt work this month, I'll have to go to that one...

Could it be that you just dont feel any symptoms/signs? But then againm, maybe not stressing about it will help, I was reading this pregnancy forum where a bunch of ladies were saying that they got pregnant when on a vacation, when going through some situation that distracted them from the TTC fever...

Who knows? maybe we're jinxing ourselves??

coworker explained it as follows:

male generating sperm(mgs) dies sooner than female generating sperm(fgs). mgs is faster than fgs.

so, if sperm is lauched into tubes and ther e is no egg there, mgs dies off, whilst the fgs hangs around. if per chance the egg arrives beforethe fgs dies off, you will have a female baby. if, on the other hand sperm is launched whilst the egg is al ready there(ie, late in the ovulation stage) the mgs will get there first and produce a baby boy.

Not sure how much of that is true but I have heard the same thing. At this point we're not picky about gender but maybe the second time around TTC we'll try for a specific sex

Inlaws called from JA and asked if we're preggie yet. My fam all asked me as well at a party we had for my aunt over the weekend. I'm trying to explain to them that stopping BCPs does not guarantee instant pregnancy for all women. They think we're not "trying" hard enough .

If I take one more sip of Robitussin I think I'm gonna turn into a bottle of that nasty stuff. Hoping that pays off and my CF changes!

I don't know. I always knew when I was ovulating before because my side would hurt. I haven't had any of that recently. Beats me. If that old saying "it happens when you least expect it" holds true, I should find out anytime I'm pregnant. I'm sure not expecting it right now and not entirely hoping it does. Way too many things going on in my life right now. I definitely think the Lord knows what he's doing. I'm sure it will happen when it's time. And it may never be time for me. I've come to the conclusion recently that I'm not exactly sure I need to have kids.
