Marahaba from Jordan! I wish I could stay online and type more, but we are at an internet cafe and I only have a few minutes. I have soooooooo many stories to tell and pics to share. Our flight was delayed 3 hours while getting de-iced, there were a few scary moments with turbulence.

My cast got wet and had to be cut off, a doctor (and i use the term loosely) put on a white plaster cast while smoking a cigarette and it was positioned wrong. Mohammeds mother cut it off the next day with a machete, ok a knife and now I have an elastic bandage on it. Problem is, I only brought left shoes with me..lol so now we are off to buy me shoes. When I wake in the morning ,I can see my breath in the house. Hope you are all well and see you next wednesday night.

:blink::blink::blink::blink:

you do still have a foot, don't you? :unsure:

OH de-iced! I sat on the tarmac in Chicago FOREVER because they had to keep de-icing! Not a way to give you piece of mind as you wait for take off!

Can't wait to hear all the stories and see the pics!

Thank you Amal for the bump, it made it very easy to find this thread. 3 more days and I can go home. After a week here, I can so relate to Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, truly, there is no place like home.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Jackie

Hey Jackie, you've been there 2 weeks? Right? You're ready to come home, why? I was actually thinking that going to Morocco for 5 weeks is a long time. When I went last year was thre 3 weeks and I was getting a little home sick. I hope this time is different. The purpose of the trip is different this time. All pleasure and no business. He is taking me to different cities and we can do things that we didnt have the opportunity to do b4; running around getting things in order for the wedding. So I hope I have a different feeling being there for this long.

Pray with me Forrest! Dear God, make me a bird so I can fly far. Far, far away from here..... Dear God, make me a bird so I can fly far. Far, far away from here!

Limah,

When are you going? My husband flew to Morocco yesterday. He said he heard from a person before he got on his RAM flight yesterday that they were overbooked. Apparently, the flights are popular right now! He actually got in an hour early this morning. When I spoke to him he said they went through about three hours of turbulance. It didn't make him feel real good since this was over the open Atlantic. (We can't watch those recreations of airline accidents because they freak him out.) Needless to say, he was much happier to be on the train this morning.

What places are you planning to visit?

Are you talking about Essaouira? When I went to Morocco, Hicham and I stayed there most of the time. It is one of the most favorite places I have ever been -- lots of history, great people, and so so so so relaxing! It took me a long time to learn how to pronounce the name.
