How long does it take for NVC assign the case number?

Try calling again many times. don't give up. They probably have your case number and IIN already.

Hi guys..... I'm new to this group

Case approved....... June 27. 2015

Sent to NVC......... July 02

...so what should I do next....

Next you will need to begin calling the NVC a couple times a week to request your case number and Invoice Identification Number or IIN.

My scan date at NVC is 3/25/15. The case cannot be found at NVC and they refuse to do anything. I have called and talked to operators and a few supervisors who vowed to do something then never got back to me with any feedback. Today I asked why my case is being discriminated against the tens of thousands of cases that have later dates. They said that there was one other case in early April also lost. Anyone know who that might be? This case is holding up my entire family and has recently caused an extreme family hardship. Any ideas??? Please!

After 35days of Uscis approval, nvc says thay they have not received the case. June 4th it was approved and June 16th the case was sent to DOS..till nw no information. Can anybody suggest what we should at this step. Please reply

Our USCIS approval was June 2nd. When I was finally able to get through to NVC I was told they received it "last week" which puts it around July 2nd. So 30 days.. I got the case number and still waiting for further progress at this point... Have you tried calling them and asking for the case number?

I have the same type letter. Mine was sent on June 8, 2015 to NVC. I havent heard anything after 30 days so I tried to call today and got a recorded message and at the end it just disconnects me. I used the number 603-334-0700. I read the other day that their computer systems went down the end of May and they are trying to play catch up. It said they worked over the 4th of July and processed 410,000 applications. Im assuming they are just back logged but not 100% sure. Im getting concerned and dont want to be sitting here not doing something I should be doing. Maybe someone can give us some guidence thats dealt with this previously ?? Are we supposed to be waiting for a letter and case number from NVC via mail?? Id like to know as well klu and mna :rolleyes: Good Luck to you!
