Hi everyone,

I'm new here. Hopefully I'm posting at the right forum, if not my apologies!

I received an I-797 NOA today for my EAD saying it's approved (this is based on adjustment of status). The notice date was June 4, 2015. In the letter, it says that my EAD was sent under separate cover to the beneficiary.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the actual card to get here after receiving the approval notice in the mail?

Also, what's interesting is that I signed up for email and text notification via the USCIS website and the status hasn't changed online.

3/12/2015 - lawyer mailed application

4/06/2015 - received by USCIS

4/08/2015 - received text notification

4/12/2015 - received hardcopies of NOA

4/20/2015 - biometrics walk-in

5/18/2015 - sent a request for EAD expedite

5/26/2015 - received request for evidence for expedite via mail

5/26/2015 - faxed evidence

6/01/2015 - went to infopass appointment to ask about status of expedite, no updates

6/04/2015 - online expedite status changed - assigned to officer

6/05/2015 - online exptedite status changed - completed

6/08/2015 - received hard copy - NOA EAD approval. Online status unchanged.

6/12/2015 - EAD card delivered!

6/26/2015 - Hard copy of interview letter received.

Status will change on line. It can take a bit. After you see the status change to Card in Production. It should be like 2 to 3 weeks to get the card.

my actual EAD card arrived one day after the approval notice.

They mailed my EAD card out 7 days after the approval notice.

USCIS mail EAD thru 2-day priority.

3/17/2015 sent out my whole AOS package thru overnight delivery

3/18/2015 received by USCIS in Chicago

3/24/2015 3 Text/e-mail notifications received

3/28/2015 Hardcopies of NOAs in the mailbox (i-130, i-485, i-765)

4/06/2015 Received notification of biometrics

4/17/2015 Biometrics done as scheduled.

4/27/2015 i-485 online status changed ready to schedule an interview. YAY!!!

5/21/2015 i-485 interview is scheduled for June 23rd!!! OMG so surprised!!!!

5/23/2015 i-485 interview notice received in hand

5/29/2015 i-765 is approved and new card is ordered to be produced.

6/05/2015 i-765 approval notice received

6/06/2015 EAD received in hand !!!

6/23/2015 i-485 and i-130 got approved on the spot!!!! waiting for green card to arrive!!

6/29/2015 i-485 and i-130 approval notices received in mail. (welcome letter) YAY!!!

7/09/2015 Finally, received my green card in hand!!!!

6/03/2017 i751 was received by CSC

6/06/2017 check was cashed

6/08/2017 NOA 1 received in mail

6/17/2017 NOA 2 received in mail. Biometrics is scheduled on 6/29/2017 

8/29/2018 Case status changed to "Approved", now waiting for Permanent green card to be delivered!

9/08/2018 10 year GC was delivered.   This journey finally ended today!! yay

USCIS mail EAD thru 2-day priority.

Sounds good, so based on your timeline, I should expect the card to arrive here sometime this week.

6/05/17 NOA1 received.  (Dated 6/1/2017)

6/17/17 NOA2 received.  Biometrics Appt. on 6/27

6/27/17 Biometrics completed

I got feedback via email that my card was shipped yesterday (no approval notice or anything ) and got my card in the mail today together with the approval notice that was dated June 5th. So I think everything is possible :-)

03/18/15: Send application

03/22/15: Application received

03/25/15: NOA 1 emails/texts

04/13/15: biomnetrics appointment letter

04/16/15: successful biometrics appointment

06/10/15: Received email - EAD picked up by post office!

06/11/15: Received EAD

06/18/15: Received interview notice in the mail for July 20th 2015 (was send on 06/12/15)

No, it stills says case is received. I haven't gotten the actual card either. So, I'm not sure why there are no updates online and no card. I'll probably call tomorrow if I don't get it by then.

Same thing happened to me. It was approved on June 4th. My case status online still shows as received. I haven't receive my card in the mail. Let me know when you get yours.

Hi there!!

Firstly, congratulations on receiving your EAD!! I was just curious about your request to expedite EAD.........I am in desperate need of that. It would be of great help if you can elaborate on the process.

I am waiting on my EAD through AOS as well and had biometrics done on 11/24/2015

Timeline

01/07/2010 : I-130 filed by mom (permanent resident)

08/24/2010 : I-130 NOA

11/02/2015 : Mailed I-485, I-765, I-131 bundle

11/03/2015 : Application received

11/05/2015 : I-797 receipt notice for I-485, I-765, I-131

11/13/2015 : Biometrics appointment notice with notice date 11/07/2015

11/24/2015 : Biometrics done

12/03/2015 : I-485 online status change to schedule for an interview

01/15/2015 : I-765 and I-131 online status change to case approved
