Lattyboo my interview is on September 17th!!! :wacko:

I'm already gathering all the documents and evidence I have, hope you all guys have your interviews soon, don't let me alone please!!! lol, what kind of evidence are you planing to take to your interviews? We have tax returns,bank statements,rental agreements,utility bills,pictures,I'll take some affidavit letters from family and friends and that's pretty much all I have, not sure If that's enough or not, what do you think???

Hello? Hello? Hello? *echo* :hehe: Went to give the manager for my job offer a copy of my EAD today. They want to do a background check but need the SSN #. I did try to tell them if USCIS didn't find any dirt on me, no one will lol. shynepapin and Erik no updates?? Rachel & lchavacortiz or anyone, is it true that I can go to the SSN office and tell them I need my SSN # to give to an employer and they will tell me number while I wait for the actual card in the mail? Whats up Latty!!!

At the SSN they gave me a receipt til I receive my SSN in about 2 weeks. You can ask if they can give it to you I'm sure they can since u have a job waiting for you. Hope that helps.

Avania, I was told the same thing at my job offer place, they needed to run background check and drug abuse test, also fill my W-9, which was ok at some point with my Alien number but with all other company policy forms I couldn't go further cos they were just gonna let my forms sit their ### there without letting me now cos it was impossible without an SSN to move forward.

So I just opt to get my offer renewed with an extended date and I did appreciate them acknowledging just my Employment authorization reciept (noa), they even ask me to go to the SSA and have them let me apply for SSN with that but I decided to just chill and got home went to bed angry and woke up in the morning to my EAD sent message for yesterday.

So hoping EAD arrives here by monday and I'm at SSA at 8.30am considering they close here in my at my city at 3am.

Yes I just tucked it into bed, poor baby has been traveling so much since yesterday :blush:...Been looking at myself in the mirror saying "who is now legal to work in the US? I am! you know why? Cuz I got THIS *proudly shows EAD card" :joy:

Got the effing card today, now my passport can chill at home and don't have to always ride with me. SSA office on Monday morning, as with Lattyboo, I hope SSN come out in 3-4 days, that's an amazing pace, will be glad to get it and then apply for s state ID same week, likewise the DL too.

Do you guys know if you get a text/email when they schedule the interview? Or is it just going to be a letter? I signed up for "my case" online but I am not sure if it sends out notifications for that or not.

Sometimes I get both email and text and other times USCIS is very selfish and sends nothing. I have to check on their website or call tier 2 (I have zero faith in tier 1 they are useless and sound hungry on the calls).
