Another May filer here too We filed mid May and did biometrics on 11th June. Received RFE a couple of days later so just dealing with that. We've had no case update though on the MyUSCIS website,

You only show your EAD and ID to apply for SSN that's all you need. I already did and got my SSN. It takes 2 weeks to receive your SSN.

Thanks alot, seems tomorrow before I head to SSN office. Look at this, arrived at the sorting facility from 7:54am and until now the sorting facility hasn't delivered the mail to my PO. I guess tomorrow they took a long lunch break today lol. O well tomorrow they say :-)

So, good morning everyone! I woke up in a happy mood UNTIL I went on :ranting::ranting::ranting::ranting: usps website to see my mail is still STUCK in Jamaica NY 11430 from 7:54am YESTERDAY!!!! I called my post office because I know sometimes USPS is very slow updating their system. The smart a$$ :ranting::ranting::ranting: (plenty expletives) is telling me they received nothing from the sorting facility and does not think they will until next week. I asked her why is the delivery date showing today, you know what this...URRRRRGGGHHHH told me???? "How should I know, have a good day" REALLY???? :protest: (honestly now I think about her comment it's actually funny, great answer...NOT) What in heavens name is the sorting facility doing with my mail from yesterday morning??? Last time I checked the EAD is not edible or have any monetary value :reading: or does it? :ot:

I would go to the sorting facility but I don't think they allow pick up. I did call the USPS toll free # and they submitted a case to locate the package... I told them I'll be fired and tossed on the streets like a wet cat if I don't get it (lol) and she said she logged it as urgent...we will see.

In better news I am already dressed and waiting :joy:

I just applied, took less than 20 mins. Thanks alot I just gave them EAD and passport. I walked with my birth certificate as well. He just used the EAD and passport.

Also usps finally updated their times on my package and it turns out the sorting facility gave it to the post office from 5:49am yet that lazy woman told me it wasnt there. Anyways the EAD nightmare is over, time for AOS (I-485).
