Those Customer Service Reps are so effing out of their heads, do they get bonuses for not transfering people's call to Tier 2 Customer Service Reps, gosh, call yesterday and today again but she keeps saying they are not printing ead cards for 30 to 60 days, that it's a new system put in place, also that teir 2 reps are going to tell me the same thing.
I hope it's true that Avania's update are real and do this updates and service request do prompt a different action that goes against or behind policies put in place, or perhaps does ###### policies they claim did change is just a giant bogus lie.

This is why sometimes I don't like updating anything. Shynepapin, go in the other May thread, there are other people calling and speaking to tier 2 as well (thats where I got the idea of calling teir 2 in the first place...Im sorry if making an attempt to get updates can be seen as going behind company policies. They told me the same bull for nearly two weeks about 30-60 days, also about them getting a new system and thats what is causing delay bla bla bla black sheep have you any wool. It has been VERY frustrating!!! I know how you feel. Its all about who you get. Some agents are straight up A-holes who read by the books, some actually CARE. If you didn't get an update I can suggest a way to call and be transferred. I have no reason to lie about my updates. If it wasn't for security reason I would give you my receipt #. Here is a TIP how to get transferred.

Tell the Tier one agent your status keeps changing and misleading you so you do not know what is the most up to date information on your case and you are requesting a tier 2. If its an A-hole, call again until you get transferred and always be friendly polite and nice. Worked like a charm for me, even called again after I posted earlier and got a tracking number for my EAD. The teir one agents read what we already see online. Prime example is my I-485 still shows "Fingerprint Received" and when I asked SEVERAL tier 2 officers they have "Interview ready to be schedule from June 22, 2015.

In conclusion I will update the thread when I receive my EAD

Avania, please don't get me wrong, I think you're by saying going against company policies, I said some of the A-holes responses do just that, I am in the same shoes as you, got approved a day after you and have been calling ever since. I'm happy for you and I'm trying to actually get the same response. If my words have mislead you, then I sincerely apologise, I had called every single day this week and every other last week. I have a job offer that was supposed to start on the 27th of July, long gone but I have continuously updated the company and it was always as I was reassured that my offer still stands even with the offer pay per hour regardless of their recent decrease. They said they appreciate the updates and are still ready to give me the job as soon as I get my ead because I have a vast experience i bring to the table and my diligence is well appreciated, all this despite I had even offered to retake all test and interviews.

So Avania, to re-enstate what I mean, I'm saying your update after your call and convo with a teir 2 means that individual put in a call to action, either by means of a service request or other as those updates might actually be there but haven't really been updated into their database of system.

I know its frustrating thats how I felt. Especially because the job offer gave me 2 weeks to get sorted and this is the 2nd week (Friday is the deadline). Call tomorrow, trust me I know of the A-holes you speak of. Sometimes when I call I don't ask them anything, I just tell them that the previous agent was transferring the call and it got disconnected, they will ask what it was about. Tell them your status keeps changing, and it said it was mailed out but now the status changed back to approve and you just want to speak with teir 2 to get the most updated information. Sometimes I even joke with them and say "The online system is a player and is messing with my emotions (yea I can be very comedic drama queen at times lol). If it helps, I also got some "by the books tier 2" but this one today was by the books as well, gave me the same 30-60 days story and then I said to her I have a job offer and the company wont hire me etc. I think she warmed up when she told me she could not hear me clearly and I told her Ill go lock myself in the closet and she started laughing saying she puts her dog in the closet when he misbehaves. I started singing "im coming out" and she laughed and after the whole by the books conversation she told me to hold let her check something on my case. She came back on the call and she told me she is going to transfer me to her manager (I was shock especially because I never requested one from her). The manager came on and I told her the job offer story again and she read the whole 30-60 days ####### again but I was telling her how lovely her tier 2 officer was (basically kissing a$$ at this point lol). She too had a dog so I rolled with the dog story and then she told me if I don't see a change by next week call back. As soon as I disconnected BOOM! updates card mailed...its a miracle!

So happy for you and infact, I think the jokes really did help as you got people who had similar interests such as yourself. I'll have my wife call them tomorrow as I have been so polite and kissed some a$$es too, the A-holes I gotten to talk to I have their name and partial Agent numbers, the moment they are ready those out, I just disconnect the call. I even got on the other and talked about status updates issues and irregularities, she said she understand how that can be misleading and worrying and decided to honor my transfer to a Tier 2, I got transfered finally but GUESS WHERE......effing I.T department and the dudes couldn't access anything on the cases but was more inclined to troubleshoot solutions for myUscis online account status problems.
I think some of this A-holes think they do you a favor by even talking to you as you could have used the voice prompt on your phone to check your cases status.

Im sorry Shynepapin I laughed so hard when you said "effing IT department" just like you I call everyday since I got approved, pretty shocked im not blacklisted by now lol. I had no clue they transferred to IT department, well hey I had no clue they would transfer me to a manager either. I really hope you get through tomorrow, fingers crossed you don't get an A-hole. It's such a frustrating process I can't wait until its all over. I still don't know if she played a part in me being approved but it was such a coincidence. Good luck and definitely keep us updated :joy:

Like I said before, I think there might be a total misconception of what is really happening behind the doors at USCIS, most of all other workers not in the higher echelon don't know and get information in fragments. Yes, there might be a change in system and or processes but not policy change as some of the reps have said that cards will now be mailed out 30 to 60 days after approval. That would be possible and when that policy kicks into place, people would not even bother applying for EADs anymore expecially those filing for AOS, it's gonna be a wait of funds since there's be a possibility that you get to AOS interview before EAD is approved. Because 30 to 60 days added to 75 to 90 days would end up being 105 to 150 days, 4 to 5 months to be precise and that's no longer worth the wait just for EAD and that's a lose of revenue for the USCIS.

Avania, your EAD might have been produced and sent, but not yet updated as there is no proper process as to how updates are generated, perhaps it was sent yesterday or today, as long as there's actually a card sent and a tracking number to verify that. Happy for you once again.

Erik still nothing? Did you get a tracking #?

they only asked for my EAD card and my birth certificate, also take your USCIS receipts and passport or other form of ID, just in case they ask for those too, I got my card at 3pm and by 3:30 I was already in the SSN office lol
