Never buy www.phonecardsforsale.com cards!

I am posting to tell people about my bad experience with this company's phone cards.

First of all, don't be fooled by the 0.7 cent a minute rate to China. There are lots of hidden charges. I saw the 79 cents a week charge and was OK with that. But I missed the crazy 25 cents so-called disconnection charge which means it costs you 25 cents each time you make a call.

Also, one of my calls just inexplicably gets terminated and then I was chatged another 25 cents.

Plus, the customer service is practically non-existent. Emails were not answered. When I finally got to talk with a person, it was a sour female.

It was my mistake to try them out. I usually use a company called justphonecards which has no hidden charges and no expiration on their card.

Warning: DO not buy this comapny's cards.

That is pretty much my opinion with all of those internet phone cards. My biggest gripe with most of them is that they seem to be on a different time than all of us. The ones I used said .05c/min and when I would connect I would be told how many minuets I would have left. But in every case I would only get about half of that time. It's as though they have a different way of keeping time than the rest of us. I even did an experiment once. I bought a card and figgured out the fees and how much time I should have left. I called Luz and started a stopwatch. I should have had 30 minutes on one call. It only lasted 18 minutes before I ran out. They all seem to be crooked.

I always had good experiences with www.therichcom.com , specifically their "Tornado" (or "Twister"?) card to call the UK.

Try Pingo - www.pingo.com - am not connected with them in any way (of course except I use them).

Easy to use - pretty good rates to most countries (I really only pay attention to Germany so can't say about others). Done via the web - enter as many telephone numbers that you will be calling from as you like - call the 800 number from one of these phones and dial your number..easy as that. (Can set up automatic recharge with a CC to make it a snap.)

Plus can print reports on calls - number, date/time etc and length of call.. so a little proof too.

 Up
