I haven't got my RFE letter yet but I'm hoping that I will get it today so that I can give them what they need and move on to the next step.

If it is something so simple, you will have an approval in no time! :)

GOBUCKS can you please update your time line. What did your RFE letter say you needed to send them if you don't mind me asking Gobucks

Timeline is updated. I received an RFE for the G-325A form which is the biographic information form for the petitioner. It was definitely included in the original packet so I don't know if it was lost, or if there was something else wrong with it. They sent the RFE out on October 22nd, waited on the mail to see what it was, and sent it right back out the following day by express mail. We had confirmation that they received it on the 29th of October. So, hopefully we hear something in the next few days. :)

Not sure if that is considered something simple, but I hope so! :)

How long does it usually take? Have you tried calling or emailing? I hope you hear something soon.

I heard that it normally takes about 2 weeks, but I am over that time limit now. I have not tried contacting them yet since they technically have 60 days to respond to it.

Gobucks the thing that I don't like about uscis is that they never no nothing they just as lost as we are. It makes no sense it's already more then two weeks since u sent them what they want. If you call all they going to tell u is that they have 60 days to respond some get answers quicker then others. I'm guessing it just depends in who hands it ends up in.

Right, that's why I haven't called yet. It could be sitting with somebody that handles all of their RFE's at the end of the month as opposed to handling them as they come in.

So I received my RFE letter and it states that I submitted a copy of my marriage certificate with translation that isn't a proper certification by a translator. So I have to find someone that is certified to translate in English.
