When i call uscis they say that the nebraska office is currently in april 2015 ans that i have 2 months more tim i get an approval. Why so long :( lol

Well April4th, Just means the date they are processing. Obviously its not all. As you can see on this thread and the Nebraska I-130 Thread 5 months give or take a week before or after has been the norm. Haven't seen any 6 ,7,8 months folk here. 5 months so just keep hope alive and think 5 months that is the standard at NSC.

They always have an attitude I had to tell them they never know nothing n I don't see y they working there. Uscis customer service suck. I'm hoping that tomorrow they will update they processing time cause we could call all we want but if the process time isn't today's date then we going to keep getting the same respond from them.

Hi all,

Hope you're hangin in there. Again, mine was approved exactly 5 months to the day (11/10) so don't believe that bs the agent tells you. They're trained to just say that and use that date as an excuse. They only update the processing date on the 15th of every month, so on on Oct 15 they might have had an April 2nd case in hand and used that date to buy them time from all of us stalking them. However, they're close to being on par for 5 months, as you can see from my case. I'm hoping they change the date to 5 months tomorrow for all of you so you can call and get helpful and hopeful answers about your cases once you reach the 5 month mark, if not approved that exact day like I was. I did call and they gave me the April date and I was like "but today is 5 months" - later that day I was approved. So maybe that trick works? ;/

My husband is visiting me from England until Sunday and I (the petitioner) was wondering if I should have him sign anything while he's here or send him back with any original documents? We received our NAO2 beginning of November. Thanks :)

We got approved the same day! ^_^

No i don't believe that he will need to sign any paperwork at NVC. Besides filling in forms online, your husband just needs to Gather the IV Package and send them to you for you to Send both AOS and IV Packages together to NVC.

At what point do we submit originals?

Take originals to the interview. Submit photocopies (for mail submission) or scans (for electronic processing).

ETA: not 100% sure for K-1 what originals you will need, but I just bet there's a wiki or a guide around here somewhere that lays it all out for you.

At what point do we submit originals?

For the IV package - only photocopies of the Civil documents to be submitted and keep the originals for the interview. Check out Saylin's NVC Process wiki
