Hahah that's hysterical! Actually here's an update:

Just checked my maile and received our RFE letter. They are asking for passport photos of me and my husband, which we sent along with our original paperwork!! Ironically I told my husband to bring two with him when he just visited for NVC, so I have his and will just use those for our RFE. I hope once USCIS receives those an approval will be right around the corner. Would you guys include any other "proof" of relationship with those photos even if they didn't ask for any? Like my year long phone logs I forgot to originally send? Not sure if I should even go there or just send them exactly what they asked for, just passport photos. I can't tell my hubby yet as he is traveling today back to Canada, so I will have to share the news with him tonight, but I am super happy it is just a request for that. :)

Send them only what they're asking for. I've read in other forums on Immigration attorney sites that sending more than what they asked for only delays things. It only makes for more work on their end because now they are looking for what they asked for and dealing with additional paperwork they have to decipher and organize. Don't chance it.

I wouldn't add a thing. You can add to your IV package at NVC. You re going through Canada ad pretty evidence low there. Glad it was something simple. But what did they do with the pics? Well hurry you will have approval in a week. YAY

That is what I figured. Right, where are our original photos!? :huh2: It says to print the "Alien Registration number" on back of each photo, but we don't have that. Do we just not write anything?

I agree we are not going to add a thing, just going to send them our lovely mugshots. :)

Im glad it came today! See i told ya it was going to be something pretty silly lol .. Here's the thing.. some info.. if you get a RFE for passport size photos then it most probably was because your photo(s) didn't meet the quality standards and it is best you take and send in a most recent one. Previous filers advised that the petitioner refrain from (re)submitting digital photos and Polaroid pics for both parties (and for US petitioners getting it taken at the US Post Office) were recommended . If You are a Naturalized Citizen then yes you will have that Alien Registration Number but NOT if youre a USC. The beneficiary at this stage are not given their alien registration number yet- your hubby will get his when he gets his Green Card.

This RFE is minor so I am thinking that it won't be long that you will get that APPROVAL!! Good Luck Cosmos!

Hey welcome back Kimbo.... Prorioty Date(PD) is the date USCIS received your case. Since you are filing for a spousal Visa - IR1/CR1 this date is almost meaningless. So dont worry about it.

Uuuumm didn't you send in your petition on the 2nd of June and received date/PD was June 8th?

As for the Interview situation its best you go to Dwheels Interview thread

Hi.my prayers are with all of you waiting for approvals. I believe we the June filers should see more approvals in the next few days. For my case, my application was approved and sent to NVC. After numerous calls to NVC, I got the case number and invoice number. How long does it take to receive a communication from NVC to start choosing an agent, processing the DS-261 and paying fees? I called NVC today and told me to wait for close to a year. Has anyone gone through such a horrible wait at NVC to do the pre-visa processing?
