I know, the closer we get, the antsier I get! I can't wait to hear an approval from one of you guys at Nebraska, so that I know our time is coming soon. I was wondering if you guys had any idea how long to expect from the receipt of NOA2 until visa in hand, for consular processing? I'm hoping 3 months, is that a pipedream?

2 to 3 months to Case Complete than maybe 4 to 8 weeks wait for interview to be assigned. It's all about when you get Case Complete and when they do the scheduling.

Every embassy is different. Here's the spreadsheet I keep take a look for France.

Thank you dwheels76, that is very helpful. It looks like 4-5 months is more normal for France, so the 3 might be a bit of a pipedream. It's good to have a realistic idea of what to expect.

I called uscis this morning to see where they at with cases. I was told that they are working in a timely manner and that my case is still in its time frame which is 5 months wait and my case has been with them 4 months now. The gentle men did advice me that there is no worries with my case and that all is going the way it should just need to be patient and wait for approval. So fingers crossed for appovals soon.

I hope it's not a pipedream!! We are wishing for the same, giving us 3-4 months at NVC and hoping my husband can finally be moving here by March, granted we get an NOA2 in early November. That is our pipedream, my birthday is in March so that would be an amazing Birthday present!! I have been hearing some awful NVC stories though about how long it's taking. So all we can do is stay hopeful I guess and keep at it!

She says so as approval comes run and get your police report. So I am ready.

I am just anxious to get into this NVC vault and see what all everyone talks about what is it like in there.

Come on NVC.

We do the same thing. Our lawyer already asked for and has my last 3 years tax transcripts and my husbands no police record (Canada expires in a year). I update my most recent paystub every 2 weeks in my folder, just incase. My employer already knows I will be asking for a letter, but I am waiting for our NOA2 approval before I ask for that. I also still print out every months phone records for my husband to bring to his interview, still take pictures of us with family/friends everytime we visit eachother to bring to interview, and keep travel emails/plane tickets because we visit eachother every month. We are (hopefully) ready for NVC!! :)

I don't think it can hurt to have 6 months of most recent pay stubs to at least bring to your interview. They might not even ask to see it, but at least you will have them. I think when the time comes I am going to send NVC probably 3-4 months worth of recent stubs. It is good proof to show my current income since I am the petitioner. You are right, I think the more the better. :)
