Hello,

My petition was approved on August 27,2015 by the California service center.

Still Waiting for NVC to receive my case.

Any one else waiting?

Approved August 27th?? :wow: From what I have read so far NVC have been a little slow lately ... How often do you call NVC?....

Goodness I am looking at my ticker and it say 2 months 4 weeks 2 days. Isn't that 3 months.

It was 3 months yesterday the 27th.

Even my dey ticker is against me.

And why is California all the way into July 27th week and Nebraska is in March 27th.

So unfair. I'm tired already. :(

Called NVC tonight. Once I finally got through, they said they received the petition on August 31 - about 2 weeks after NOA2, as others were saying above. (The case status on the USCIS website was never updated to say they sent it to NVC, so don't count on that)

No case number assigned yet, with the officer saying it could take up to 30 days after Sept 4 to be assigned.

I will call back late this week nonetheless.

The case number was put into the system on Sept 17, and I filled out the DS-261 and paid the AOS fee today. NOA2 was Aug 18, so exactly 30 days between NOA2 and the case number being assigned.

They messed up my wife's address on the welcome letter which was emailed: the street address and zip code arecorrect but the country is her country of nationality rather than the country she lives in... I don't think it should be a big deal because we get the documents by email. I called to change it, but they said I need to wait for a few weeks before they can edit the profile...

We will try using the welcome letter they sent to get the Singapore police certificate...hopefully they accept it and it'll be ready in 15 days. Singapore is notorious for not liking to give the certificate to non-citizens without specific instructions requiring it.

Yeah the ticker usually takes an extra day or two when you reach the next month, not sure why. I am wtih you though, so ready for an approval so we can move on to NVC! Come on Nebraska show us some approvals. :)

I have been calling NVC once every 2 days.I called them yesterday they said they have not received my case yet. :mellow:
