Good morning Guys

Do not lose your hope, They told me the same and I remember on day a lady told me to wait 45 days and I got my case and invoice number next day from another Agent Basically only took 11 days from CSC to NVC

She told me that I have to wait to make the payments, I went by and make my AOS payment right there and they sent me by email an bar code cover letter to be mailed with my financial documents.

But my IV for some reason can not be paid online yet.

From other people at CSC it seems like mostly it's between 2 and 3 weeks that they receive it at NVC, right now. Mine has been just over 2 weeks and they don't have it yet.

There are always a few people whose things go through more quickly though  so it looks like it doesn't hurt to call and check. Depends on your tolerance for disappointment, I guess! ;)

NOA2 email was received tonight - August 18. Less than 2 months after NOA1 on June 24.

Will be on vacation the next three weeks then can start calling NVC as soon as I get back.

My wife is asking...assuming everything goes smoothly, what's the fastest timeline from here we could hope for a visa approval from embassy?

Called NVC tonight. Once I finally got through, they said they received the petition on August 31 - about 2 weeks after NOA2, as others were saying above. (The case status on the USCIS website was never updated to say they sent it to NVC, so don't count on that)

No case number assigned yet, with the officer saying it could take up to 30 days after Sept 4 to be assigned.

I will call back late this week nonetheless.

The same thing. Last week NVC didn`t admit they got a case and yesterday they finally told they got the case on September, 8th. No numbers yet - please wait patiently for 42 days since that date. Of course we will try to call again and again. But that`s frustrating.

I'm a USC who has lived in Canada for the last 17 years. We plan on staying up here and moving when my husband receives his Visa.

So if you don't mind me asking where are you having your medical done ?
