A word of advice: Double check with NVC to make sure your contact information is correct. I had to call today and correct my email address (the first letter was incorrect). Although, it was written correctly on the G-1145 and I'd gone over it on the phone with them it was not correct. I noticed it when my husband forwarded the emails he received from NVC to me.

Have been waiting for my approval email or an update on the USCIS website for the last several weeks. Today in my mail in Canada is the letter from NVC with my Case # & Invoice #. I was able to select my agent and pay my AOS fees. I guess you cannot completely rely on the website or email confirmations. Rec'd by USCIS on June 18, 2015. Our I-130 was approved on August 17, 2015 by California Service Center.

Hi all. Just want to inform you all that I received my "NVC Welcome Letter (ACL)" via post today. Very surprised as the USCIS website does not reflect the NOA2. I had also called USCIS last week for a status check, and the personnel had told me it can take them 5 months for processing as mine has not yet been approved.

USCIS' system does not reflect that my case was approved a while back as the NVC welcome letter is dated August 6th, 2015. Ai yai yai to USCIS!

Thank you!!! I am not sure why, but just saying 3 months in USCIS sounds better and a bit more hopeful haha. Hopefully the rest of us June filers will hear some good news soon. The waiting is definitely brutal.

Was wondering which part of Canada the other Canadians are from ..

Hi Lyncoranne! My husband is actually in Canada, in Ontario. I am petitioning for him to come to the States and even though it's just US/Canada, this process is still so long. We are fortunate though that we get to see eachother about once every 1-2 months. Where in Canada are you at?
