From my understanding, the DS-261 has to be reviewed before we get IV fees and the DS-260 is generated. On other threads, I've seen people say that they called NVC and had the DS-261 reviewed over the phone. I've been trying to call NVC since last week to see if this is still possible but I've not been able to get through.

Why aren't they transferring any NE petitions? :( On Visa Journeys processing times, vermont is ahead of NE in their processing times. NE and TX seems to be the slowest and most back logged. Crossing fingers that USCIS knows what they are doing to help speed this process up for all of us.

Jumping in on the June boat. Got our NOA1 from unlucky Nebraska on June 10th so stuck there til probably November. Sigh.

When the NE timeline listed January 2014 as the last application, I wrote to the congressional leader here in CO to ask about it and request for the workload to be split up between NE and Cali to speed the process up. Every Time I called the USCIS they were unhelpful and just reading from the website. The congressional got back to me in a day after inquiring and found out from the USCIS that the January date was just an error and they're within the 5 month normal processing time and won't be splitting workload as of now. That was 2 weeks ago.

Then today, I see that they transferred cases from VT to CA and I'm annoyed since they're ahead of NE in processing!!! Ugh.

Come on NE!!!!

Thanks for the update about your congressman. I know when I saw that they were transferring apps from Vermont to CA I was so sad. Happpy for the Vermont folks, but sad for all of us stuck at NE. Seems NE is the slowest center at the moment, besides TX which always seems like a blackhole. I guess all us NE folks can do is just wait it out. Our NOA1 is June 1st so I am right there with you, missing my hubby probably for many more months to come. :( What can all of us do to pass the time? We need to come up with something for us June filers, something positive!

Definitely no giving up!! And I feel the exact same way as you, my husband and our life together is worth everyday of this long process. I just hate feeling like our lives are literally on hold because of paperwork. Wishing the powers above hear us and speed up this journey, anything would help! :)

Out of curiosity, has anybody called NVC recently and gotten through? I've been trying since last week with no luck. I wish they still had the AVR.

Just keep redialing until you get through took me about 15 or 17 redials but I was finally able to get through.

Also June filers each of you are in my prayers. Allah works in the best of ways. Please stay strong and stay encouraged. I know that we are with out better halves but we do have each other...Send hugs and love to everyone...

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; so I love you because I knew no other way than this, where 'I' does not exist, nor 'you'. So close that your hand on my chest is my hand, so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.

I finally got through to NVC this morning. Got my DS-261's reviewed over the phone. I should be invoiced for IV fees within 5 days. I sent of AOS/IV documents on Tuesday. Prayerfully, there will be no RFE's.
