When you do get to the NVC, if you think your situation merits an expedite, by all means try (make sure you include all evidence). Keep the request factual and not so much emotional...at least that's how I did it. The worst they can do is say no. Our expedite request was approved yesterday and the our case is being sent to the Consulate. We'll have our interview in about 2 weeks.

Dildot....Pretty much as fast as DCF!

Wow! That is a blessing mamapuchis! Congratulations!

Hi all!

Congratulations to all approvals! Everyone else, keep the fighting spirit going! Soon we will all be together with our spouses (L)

Today, I just completed Choice of Agent (DS-261) Can I pay the AOS fee right away? because there is a PAY clickable link on the AOS (also the IV) but after completing DS-261, it says I should log in again after 3-5 days for them to process it.

How will I know when I can pay for the AOS and IV fees?

Thanks all. And goodluck to all of us!

NOA2 email was received tonight - August 18. Less than 2 months after NOA1 on June 24.

Will be on vacation the next three weeks then can start calling NVC as soon as I get back.

My wife is asking...assuming everything goes smoothly, what's the fastest timeline from here we could hope for a visa approval from embassy?

Congrats!

Hello, all of you! I guess our positive vibes did a good job - in early morning we got our petition approved!!!!!! (early morning in Russia I mean).

I am so nervous writing this right now and I hope to share this luck to all who are still waiting!

Now we`ll take a breath and wait for NVC to get our case ))))

Thank you all for support!

Congrats!

You'll see the fee amount and it will say invoiced when you're able to pay. The AOS took a couple of days to receive. The IV invoice becomes available after the DS-261 gets reviewed, I believe.

I'm still waiting to be invoiced for IV fees and haven't been able to get through to NVC to ask about it.
