Finally got my case number assigned!! Calling is definitely helpful! I was assigned a case number last Friday (August 14) and I'm already able to assign an agent and pay the AOS fee ($120) (without having to wait for the hard copy). We're getting very excited!! :)

My husband and I are also at NE and PD of June 1st, 2015. I really think NE is processing at the 5 month time frame. I know a person who had a PD of 3/23 was approved today, just a little under 5 months. That gives hope that they are still on track. I am not sure why the website changed from 5 months to Jan. 2014 last month. My only guess it that they are starting to get back logged and that was the last date processed before they were backed up? But hearing from the approvals, they are processing applications from March right now. I still pray for a quick approval everyday so my husband and I can start living our life together!

Thank you for your reply Cosmos 22. You all give me hope, and it's nice to compare notes with people on this extremely complicated and strange process. I was very afraid that I would have to wait several years before getting my husband here. I think now I will just hold off on the i-129F and start to get worried if I don't hear anything about my I-130 by November. Please keep me posted about your case since we are likely in the same situation together.

FYI, the Nebraska Service Center just changed their processing time for I-130 from January 16, 2014 to 5 months. I don't know what happened there, but I hope it is true!

Nebraska changed their processing time today back to 5 months! :) You keep me posted on your case as well, we are only a few days apart and at the same processing center. Hopefully we only have a few more months to go there, almost 3 months down! :joy:

Is it just me or has the process gone pretty quiet for this group currently stuck at NOA1?

It seems there were a few people who got NOA1 in the first week or 2 of June who proceeded to NOA2 quickly, even by the end of June. Especially those filing from abroad routed to the California Center.

That gave me hope as I also filed from abroad (and I have now moved back to the US but my wife is abroad for the next XX months...always seems to surprise people when I tell them I hope it'll be only 8 months! "But you're married, should be quick, right?")

NOA1 was June 24, and nothing since. Has anyone who received NOA1 in the last 2 weeks of June actually moved forward?

I realize that other centers like Nebraska are typically worse...here's to hoping it goes quickly for all of us.

NOA2 email was received tonight - August 18. Less than 2 months after NOA1 on June 24.

Will be on vacation the next three weeks then can start calling NVC as soon as I get back.

My wife is asking...assuming everything goes smoothly, what's the fastest timeline from here we could hope for a visa approval from embassy?

My beautiful VJ June filers I see more NOA2 coming in and several NVC Case # as well ...We have update our timeline fees paid and working on the AOS and IV Packets this evening. As remember you are in my prayers may Allah(God) bless, strengthen, and keep each of you until you in the arms of your missing loves again or for the first time.

I have a really nice note to share this is the email that my husband sent me today along with all the documents we need to complete out Packets, well I just want to spread the Love.......

Why Do I Love You?

I love you, Not only for what you are, But for what I am when I am with you.

I love you Not only for what you have made of yourself, But for what you are making of me.

I love you for ignoring the possibilities of the fool in me and for laying firm hold of the possibilities for good.

Why do I love you?

I love you for closing your eyes to the discords - And for adding to the music in me by worshipful listening.

I love you because you Are helping me to make of the lumber of my life Not a tavern But a temple; and out of the words of my every day Not a reproach But a song.

I love you because you have done more than any creed to make me happy.

You have done it without a word, without a touch, without a sign. You have done it just by being yourself.

After all perhaps that is what Love means.
