Its the test of faith that we have to wait for NOA2. The processing times for California Service Center show that the I-130 petitions for Mid-June are being processed but why can't we be approved. I am keeping an eye on the processing times as I go through a difficult time of being separated from my loved one. I pray for quick approvals for the Mid-June filers at CSC. Please the Mid-June filers at CSC should keep us posted. I pray the Almighty answers our prayers this week

My friend, God is good all the time and a test of faith is exactly what this is. I pray the process goes quickly for you! God has been so good to us, the whole process so far is moving much faster than we expected. We made it through CSC in 1 month hoping more of you get those approvals soon...families shouldn't have to be apart.

Hopefully.... We shall see quick NOA2 approvals this week from California Service Center. Last Friday, they were processing petitions for June 15 but today they are processing petitions for June 12. I need to keep my fingers crossed as I wait for my June 17 petition to be processed and approved.

Ok my bad.. I missed the info on your profile lol :D

Your Service Center (California) according to VJ Immigration Timelines are now processing June Filers.

But the standard processing times are 5 months.

When you do get to the NVC, if you think your situation merits an expedite, by all means try (make sure you include all evidence). Keep the request factual and not so much emotional...at least that's how I did it. The worst they can do is say no. Our expedite request was approved yesterday and the our case is being sent to the Consulate. We'll have our interview in about 2 weeks.

Dildot....Pretty much as fast as DCF!

Hi guys! How are you?

Just an update from us.

We already have our Case Number and IIN.

But today I got the Welcome letter from NVC in the mail. It's 4 pages, basically stating the case number and IIn and some invoice fee cover letter IF i cannot pay online.

There is also documents cover sheet. There's a list of documents that needs to be submitted to NVC. (i will try and post the page here) affidavit of support, tax transcripts, I mean the basics. But there is also "Proof of relationship" on the list. That does mean we need to send them again? Or are the welcome letters generic?

Anyway, one more thing that bothered me is on the bottom of that page, there is a "CR1". Do they decide whether the visa is CR1 or IR1 at this stage? Because me and my wife will be married for 2years in December. I know the rules about the less than 2 years being married. But then I was in the impression that they will decide which visa is for my wife AFTER the whole petition process is complete. Which I calculated will happen afterDecember 16, ( our 2nd yr anniv). And also I thought that at the POE they will say whether my wife is conditional or immediate.

Thanks anyway. Hehehe I don't know why this is stressing me. :)

You aren't the only one confused by where it says proof of relationship. I am also. The other thing that I'm confused about is "petitioner documents". For proof of relationship I'm just going to add another copy of my marriage license.

I plan on adding some phone records but don't know if that's considered "petitioner documents" or "other documents". Then where it says photocopies is questionable. I wonder if the list hasn't been revised since photocopies are now allowed where they weren't previously?

I will be married 2 years on the 23rd of this month. I believe the consulate will issue an IR-1. If not, at POE there should be a change. If no change at POE, you can make an infopass appointment. I've known at least two people that were incorrectly given a CR-1 instead of an IR-1 and had to make an infopass appointment.

Sorry about the repeated post. I tried to edit it and it said I didn't have permission to edit my own post! :ranting::goofy:

Hi all!

I am new to the group and am getting concerned about the processing times in Nebraska. My priority date is June 5, 2015; however the Nebraska Service Center says that it is just now processing I-130 applications from January 2014. After reading this post, it seems that is not necessarily true since some June filers have already been approved by Nebraska.

I am trying to figure out if I should file an I-129F since it says the Nebraska service center processed them in 5 months. I just want to be reunited with my husband who is in France. Did anyone else try that route and have luck?

My other hope is that I will be transferred to California since that seems to be the only center that processes applications within the 5-6 month timeframe. Has that happened to anyone on here yet?

Does anyone have any advice?

Thank you in advance for any help!

My husband and I are also at NE and PD of June 1st, 2015. I really think NE is processing at the 5 month time frame. I know a person who had a PD of 3/23 was approved today, just a little under 5 months. That gives hope that they are still on track. I am not sure why the website changed from 5 months to Jan. 2014 last month. My only guess it that they are starting to get back logged and that was the last date processed before they were backed up? But hearing from the approvals, they are processing applications from March right now. I still pray for a quick approval everyday so my husband and I can start living our life together!
