Sorry, siniybella. I have no actual proof but I really think the financial timeline that I provided may have helped my case. Can you get something from your job that may help your case? That may help bolster your case, as well. Maybe get some affidavits from family and friends that are aware of your circumstances? I know someone that emailed their request for expedite. Perhaps you can go that route and attach all your documentation.

I just checked it again and it still says the same date. I was hoping for the 5 months but with that date it could be a lot longer then that.

This doesn't make any sense since Visa Journey states that they are processing February 2015 and from the people getting approved this month, it definitely holds true to that. Almost all the people getting approved lately from NE have been February filers. Crossing fingers this is just a mistake!! They just can't be that far behind, and if they are you would think they would be transfering applications to CA or Vermont. Everyone send their positive vibes out there that WE ALL get approved quickly!! Life is to short to have to wait to be with our loved ones. #myheartisincanada

It might be helpful to look at actual data - here's the link for anyone who hasn't seen this chart yet. You can search for users by service center (and/or country etc) to see when they submitted they received their NOA1 and NOA2 (use the little arrows at the top to sort by NOA2 date). It looks like most of the mid-July approvals in Nebraska have NOA1 dates in February (thus 5 months).

For those who received the NOA 2, does the hard copy say anything special? And did you receive notice that your petition was being sent to the NVC? I tried to call the NVC, but I seriously don't know how anybody mananges to get through...I got a message all day saying that all the operators where busy. I called UCSIS but they said that the system hasn't been updated....and they don't know if my petition was sent or if it is still at the California Service Center. I'm going to try for an expedite at NVC and really want to know if the papers have been sent... Suggestions?

Any June filers at the Texas Service center know what the consensus is over there? I'm seeing some approvals come through this thread but haven't heard anything from any Texas filers. Has anyone heard any updates on their petitions?

Looking at timeline data I see that some Texas petitions for Filipinos have been approved within 1-2 months. We're at 47 days and counting. I'm hoping by some miracle we can be home for Christmas.

Our hard copy NOA2 stated that our case was sent to the NVC. The current wait time for the NVC to receive a case is about 2 weeks, so i would suggest calling the NVC next week around the 23d or 24th to verify that they have received your case.

I received my NOA-2 on July 9th. I called NVC yesterday and they said my cases were received on July 15. No case numbers have been assigned and I was told it may be mid -August before that might happen. I'm going to call once a week, though, to see if case numbers may be assigned before then.

Surprisingly, I got through on my first call and waited only 1-2 minutes before speaking to someone.
