Congrats to all who has recieved they NOA2.

Im wondering if anyone on here got the NOA1 the week of june 15th . My I-130 was sent to nebraska and i know that nebraska timing is showing 5 months but im sure it can be sooner. Thank you

I recieved my NOA1 on June 1st, still waiting for NOA2 and we are also in Nebraska. I would expect the standard 5 month wait time, and anything sooner is a blessing. A lot of us June filers are in Nebraska, some June filers received NOA2 from them in just 21 days, so I guess anything is possible! :) I pray to the powers above everyday that today will be our approval day, but so far nothing. Congrats on everyone with approvals this month, and to the rest of us, our day is coming! :yes:

@ditdot

So you think they've started my case than huh? Does that mean they're working on it? It's better to have an RFE than wait that long I guess.

sure ... the RFE was for my marriage certificate which was in another language. I guess they want every single page translated not a short hand summary version.

Definitely! when they start working on your case they either approve it or Request for Evidence(RFE) or rarely- Deny it.

Yes apparently they only allow the translated and long version of the MC.

Send in the requested MC asap.. usually in a couple of weeks or about a month you'll be done with USCIS!:D

Are you filing from abroad?

do anyone here know what is needed to file hardship and how can i go about doing that.

I called on Tuesday to request an expedite due to financial hardship. It was granted and I received notification that my four cases were approved today. :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: My prayers were answered.

Thank God, did you have to send in any paper work to show prove of hardship or did you just make a request???

I called and made the request. I didn't show any paperwork. I thought my next notification after I called would ask me to send in proof but it was the NOA-2. I did, however, include a financial timeline as part of my proof of relationship. That may have helped but I really don't know
