I guess now we wait for news from the Dept of State and if not, I'll call them in 2 weeks to confirm they got the file? Does anyone know if they'll continue to contact us via email or if we'll receive snail mail (I hope not!)?

Congratulations to Kimbo and sega10028!!

Next, I would start calling the NVC in two weeks to see if they have received your cases; then wait another two weeks to called back and get your case number and invoice identification number (IIN)... I would call two or three times a week to get the case number. Or if you are not in a rush, you can just sit back and wait for the NVC's welcome letter to arrive in the mail. The welcome letter will contain the case number and IIN.
