When might you start calling the NVC to get delivery confirmation?

I tried a few times this week, but got the "due to large call volume" message, and I didn't really feel like trying all night, just to have them tell me it's too early, it's only been a week. Since I'm in France, 6 hours ahead, it was around 2-4pm in the states when I tried, which is probably a pretty busy time. I can't really call when they open at 7am, since I'm at work, and the only way I'd wake up at 5am to try and call when it's 11pm there is if my son wakes me up (which actually happens more than I'd prefer, lol, so I might give it a try the next time he does!)

WOOHOO!!! i woke up to an email saying that my petition was approved yesterday!!! (NOA 2!)

Congrats!

LOL. You said you would get NOA2 before you got hard copy NOA1. See positive talk look what you got. You speak and yee shall receive. Congratulations :dancing: :joy: . I like this thread. Makes me want to file. NOT!! :goofy:

Sure did! I bet we have the visa in hand before the hard copies ever make an appearance here. My mother sent my new credit cards back in March via post and not courier service and they still haven't shown up...good thing I cancelled them and had the credit card company reissue and then had them sent via courier.

Thanks to all! Hoping for approvals for you all soon too!

Those of you already forwarded to the NVC...keep us posted!

We applied in May 22 but we were asked for REF , so we concidered ourselves June filers as well

I checked my case and I got this msg:On July 10, 2015, we sent your case, Receipt Number 0000000000000, to the Department of State for visa processing .

Does that mean I will begin the long journey wait ?

Hi

I try to register on the site uscis. But I can not, a sudden it says that my email address already in use, a sudden it says error. How to you you are caught

I can't register on USCIS site either, I am getting the same errors and the "please contact technical support" page.

I'm trying to locate the technical support page... -_-

That's unfortunate, but at least now I know that it's a website issue and not something with me specifically.

Doubt I'll be able to find any technical support to contact...so will just wait...

Will the NOA2 be sent to the email and phone number I gave them on the G1145? If not, will the USCIS website tell me of NOA2 if I put in the Receipt number of the NOA1? Or is there any other way to receive notice before the hard copy NOA2 arrives in the mail?
