June 2015 I-130 Filers

I read a lot of information and looked through stats of CSC and got excited - want to get some of your luck, guys, who have already got their NOA2 so quick! Also made my husband so hoping now - we were so sad to separate in April after almost 3 years living together in Russia but we tried to get used to a thought that we would see each other again only in a year. Its so nice to hope for a shorter process ))))

Have you tried entering your case number without logging in?..

Probably they're working on your case and your account will be up and running once they've updated your case status MOST PROBABLY TO AN APPROVAL!

When I enter the receipt number, the "Case Was Received" message pops up - telling me they have received form I-130 and sent me a receipt.

Now I remember what happened...

I tried signing up with a new email address just now, I was able to give my details, and pick my username and password. Then, when I click submit, I get an error page which says "HTTP status 500 - Dispatch[/signUpStep3] to method 'save' returned an exception." So it seems that the set-up never finished...I never said which receipt number this account should be linked to, I simply gave my basic address,phone number, user id, password, and password questions.

I think this is what happened when I signed up with my original email address (and I gave up, forgot, and tried signing up this week and was told there's already an account).

After making the new account, I get an error message saying the email address already exists. Attempting logging leads to an error saying the account is locked. I can reset the password, Once I reset, sometimes acouple of times, I am able to log-in as before with my other email address, and I get the same message.

Has anyone else faced this problem? Any ideas? Is it something wrong on my end or is the website broken? (The website functionality seems atrocious, but why should I be surprised at that...everything about this process is awful)

I'm surprised you didn't do Direct Consular Filing while your were living with your husband.

I bet I get the visa approval before I get the NOA 1 hard copy...it's been a month already. Our mail is sooo bad.

Well, we didn`t fit DCF conditions - my husband used a tourist visa all this time, returning back home to US every six month and coming to Russia a week later. We tried to make TRP in Russia for him but met bureaucracy and obstacles - our city is pretty small and laws are taken and used in a different way. We didn`t have money to pay bribes so we stopped fighting against system and decided to move to USA. To do DCF my husband should have TRP and stay in Russia for 180 days or more but he had to leave Russia in a period less then 180 days by tourist visa conditions.

Welcome to the June Filers Ment! There are a lot of us in here that are at the Nebraska processing center, myself included.

In theory yes your application should be approved within 5 months, NE states they are processing in that time frame. It seems from the people getting approved now that they are working on Februrary applications. As long as you don't have any RFE's, or any other snags hopefully 5 months is the magic timeframe. Every case is different though, but 5 months is a good place to start. Good luck with the process. If you create an account on USCIS site you can sign up for email and text notifications and track your case online.

Our case status changed from case approved to "case was sent to the Department of State". They sent it on July 6, a week after NOA2. I wonder how long before NVC receives it. I'm excited and nervous at the same time! Hoping this process goes as smooth as the USCIS.

I called on Tuesday to request an expedite due to financial hardship. It was granted and I received notification that my four cases were approved today. :dance: :dance: My prayers were answered.

Really? Then I should be grateful that they updated ours or else I wouldn't know what was happening in our case! We didn't receive any emails or texts from USCIS after NOA1. So I had to check our case status online everyday. Have you tried calling NVC? We are gonna start calling them soon to know if they received it.

A little question about timeline - it counted that our petition can be approved very soon. Though it seems too optimistic, can it be true? How often such predictions work?

Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between July 21, 2015 and August 10, 2015*.

WOOHOO!!! i woke up to an email saying that my petition was approved yesterday!!! (NOA 2!)
