So my husband cane to the US 10 days ago without an interview. He came and they granted him entry on his valid visitors visa.. before we had word about the interview we tried switching it to here and now that it reached rhe embassy they are saying they cant switch it !! And so he has to go back for the interview.... This is such a twisted system!!

well where did you think you could switch it to you can't interview in the us ? If hes in the us it would be called adjustment of status which you would have to cancel and start all over and pay alot of money its really awful what happened but he doesn't have a choice .

This is true today they off work because of the new Islamic year anniversary,I'm not sure if DR amy clinic is open on Saturday ,just let him try and if its not just let him try to make it sunday and make it obvious with them that he don't have a time coz his interview is soon

thank you :) yeah that is what I told him to do. I told him tell them that you need to get in ASAP because he has to drop it off two weeks before his interview. I hope they get him in right away. I still have to send him my tax return and the aff of support I have to ship thru DHL :(

So in the interview letter what code they put next to the financial evidence?, coz if they put S letter which mean NVC only received scanned copy and they need the original affidavit of support so in this case u need to send it to him coz it should show ur original signature, just don't forget to send him proof of domicile in another word something prove that u live in USA for example car title or home ownership or any light bills and copy if ur driving license, and what goes for you is goes the same for the joint sponsor if there is one.

They put S and I am sending him the original affidavit of support and the tax return. Why they need proof of domicile?? isn't a letter from my employer that I work in USA proof that I live here. My driver license has wrong birth date on it instead of July 06 they have July 17. but I have electric bill, car title, credit card bills my pay stub is this enough

thank you for helping me

Hello everyone,

I just talked to my lawyer and he said that my wife does NOT need to bring the Affidavit of Support and/or the sponsor's most recent Federal income tax return to the visa interview.

But on the letter, it shows the following:

F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE S

Letter F on the left and the letter S on the very right

I don't need to send the police clearance so why do you ?

I know my wife does not need the police clearance, but she is insisting on obtaining one.

I would have her take them just in case. You never know what the consulte would ask from her. You rather be safe than sorry. You waited to long for anythinh wrong to happen now.
