What does the consular office check to make sure you make enough to sponsor??? Is it tax forms or pay stubbs or both???

Thank you jeanetta Mahmoud. It is actually both; tax forms and pay stubs. I called my lawyer today, and he said I have nothing to worry about.

Thank you Mahmoud I'm just worried because I made 40,000 6 years in a row then when I went to jordan I changed jobs and now I only make 21,000 I pray everything goes well.. do you think I will have any problems sponsoring my husband? It's just me and him.

According to the Federal Poverty Guidelines, the poverty line for a family of two is $15,930. You need to multiply this amount by 1.25, which will equal to $19,913. As a result, I think you will be fine.
