Could any one share experience with dropping off documents at the embassy? Is it true that we have to drop them off at the embassy 1~2 weeks in advance?

See my post #669 in this thread for details. It is true that the required Documents will need to be dropped off ahead of the scheduled interview, however this starts for November 2015 interviews.

So do they need us to drop off the Jordanian passport two weeks ahead of the appointment as well. I am confused. Also how do we know that they don't misplace our documents, etc.?

I really need someone to share his/her experience.
