Mahmoud, how did you get the info regarding scheduling more appointments towards the end of month? Ensha'Allah it is true

Sam,

They actually told Stargirl1 today that they are going to schedule more people at the end of this month. Moreover, I called last week and they told me the same.

I think they are done with interviews for the month of October, since no one is getting anything. I think at the end of this month they will start scheduling for November interviews. Insallah we will get one very soon. It is messed up how they have been making us wait such a long time. For me its been over 5 months since my case was completed. So if I do get a November interview, even though I hope for an October one insallah, I would have waited 7 months after cc for the interview! Eid mubrak to you guys

Regarding delays in Jordan. My ex just went over to Jordan and married a young man there. She married him early July and got back to US about July 21. She tells me her new husband that got an interview a weeks ago. From the date you got married to inteview, that seems very quick, especially with all you are saying. It seems like it would take a few weeks to get case completed let alone an interview, correct?

I do support the marriages here, but not my exes. She is being paid and it is a sham with all the obvious flags, much older women, only one trip there where she married immediately, only knew him a few months on line before marrying, different religion, language (he speaks a little English) etc. So how could a couple with all these red flags get an intervew when all you good people get delayed a year?

They have a lawyer, is that the difference? Do most of the people here have lawyers? I was hoping immigration would stop this but it looks like they may be pushing it through super fast. Unless someone is lying. Or is it possible that this "interview" is not the same. Maybe they are checking him out? Like an investigatory interview, not a good one? Any thoughts?

Thank you and good luck.

So marrigae date to inveriew was supposedly 2 months (July 5 marriage to septmeber 5 interview, approximately). Possible?

I think someone is lying to you, because it takes time to have the documents ready and be reviewed by the USCIS and the NVC before scheduling an interview at the embassy. Maybe your ex is making things up to drive you mad.

I personally hired a lawyer from day one, but he cannot do anything right now but protest the delays.

This is the United States of America; a country of laws and regulations, there is no preferential treatment in the system to anyone. If I am mistaken, we should all move to Sudan or Yemen.

Hello everyone my name is Ghassan living in Tampa Florida, I found this group after a long search on the topic of interview scheduling. My wife's case has a PD of February 2014, and my CC was April 13th 2015. Iv been reading through the thread and it seems i thought i was the only one going through this frustrating delay, I welcome your comments and suggestions, from what iv been reading it seems that most of April and beginning of May have been scheduled, so im hoping that my wife's interview would be coming very soon...iv called the NVC over 50 times and the embassy as well, but all i get from them is wait wait wait....
