Hello everyone,

I found out about this chat last night as I was searching answers for my case with the stupid people at the NVC and the incompetent employees at the U.S. Embassy in Jordan. Our case was completed on July 08, 2015. I thought we would have been finished with this by now. But of course everything has to be extremely difficult with the NVC. The funny part is when I call; they do not say anything new but keep checking your email.

Priority is irrelevant in our case since we are applying for our spouses which is first priority so we dont have to wait for our case to be current like other cases do, so they are going by CC (Completion Case Date)

Yes Faris, our cases were completed around the same time. However, I became very discouraged when I read this thread because these people have been waiting for a long time. We are only in our third month.

I called my lawyer today, he said he is going to send an inquiry to the NVC today to know why the delays. He promised to call me back as soon as he hear from them. Inshallah, I will let everyone know whatever the NVC tells him

Just to let everyone know that the fix is in the embassy in Amman. If they don't take a bold step and get us all out of this mess, we will be in a worst situation. The NVC not happy with us calling them. If the NVC could fix it, they would have done so long time ago.

I agree that problem is in the U.S embassy in Amman for some strange reason there are not scheduling any immigration interviews, its Okay if NVC is annoyed because we are also are externally annoyed!!! and they should start start resolving the issue by contacting the embassy and figure out the reason behind there actions of not accepting any cases!!!

Haneen the person who is in charge is doing what the US government is telling him or her to do. If anyone cares from here such as Senator, president

, or any government official, that same person in the embassy would have reacted.

What I meant is that the president himself pledged to host 10k Syrians with the same count of staff in the US embassy in Jordan. To get that done, we are put on hold forever.
