Okay, I just talked to someone at a Senator office and he was saying that he heard about the U.S.embassy in Amman and how they are not accepting any cases because they are working to complete the Syrian cases since their embassy is closed and all the refugee cases! he was also saying that they are not accepting any new cases! he will try to find more information on how long it will take them to process any future cases and let me know so I will share with you all.

But when i called NVC today supposedly they are scheduling cases to Amman. she also told me that they finished scheduling September cases and are waiting for US embassy in Amman to send them October dates. Haneen did the senator mention how long havent they been scheduling cases????

No he just said that the U.S embassy in Amman is saying no and not accepting any new case, that's why all of our cases is still AT NVC , what the NVC is saying is not true and I told them that yesterday when I called them. The senator office person will reach back to me next week and let me know how long this blockage has been. he also said that it depends on the CC date of the case not priority date because we are applying for a first relative and the case is current.

I would suggest that each one of us contact their senator or congressman office, I am working with three offices. We should do something about this!!

I am working with both senators in my state, and they have been very responsive.

PS. The senator's office have direct line of communication with the consular, I am requesting assistance with granting my wife a visit visa as an intern solution

Guys,

Here is the end of the month and the embassy should send their schedule for interviews to the NVC. lets all start calling them on their number 065906000 and then dial the extension 6613 (this is the consulate extension). Let them feel in our suffering!!!!

Guys,

Good Luck to all of us :) we need it! I am hoping to hear good news next week from my local senator office regarding our cases :clock: for those who are living in Amman please contact the Embassy phone number, my husband tried to call them many times and it didn't work! :( I would recommend going to Alnhada office and seeing if there is any update hopefully! My husband went there last week and they stated that the office has 300 cases waiting for the embassy to schedule interview for!!! According to the Google doc of all those who have completed their cases the last time an interview was scheduled in Amman was around the end of April so I am assuming that since May of this year the embassy was directed to work on the other embassies that closed in the region similar to the Syrian embassy cases. So I do hope that in September they will go back on scheduling our interviews!!!

I wish I had everyones case number so that I could compare where we all are and if it follows the priority date or cc date or what.

Have you guys played with the case numbers? I've played with them a lot and visa's are issued scattered throughout, nothing is really in order. I'm wondering if it's because the case numbers go in order of received visa, not necessarily all IR1/CR1 visas. That's my guess anyway. It would explain why ISSUED and READY statuses are so scattered between all the AT NVC statuses

Is anyone understanding what I mean?

Hi Sam,

According to the senator office rep they follow the CC not the priority date, since we are filing for Immediate relative IR1 and priority date is current so its all based the date of completion of the case.
