They should give two copy , anyhow let your husband go to the court where the marriage is held and ask them to give him a copy of interior permission (let him take marriage contract) and after that he should go to the passport and civil status department to get the marriage certificate and family record book, here below a link and it has a pdf file download it, its instructions of everything about passport and civil status department services, it's in arabic, you might forwarded it to your husband to check it out if you can't speak arabic

Anyone know what is the meaning of N

It should have a definition, I recommend you to call your lawyer but if you don't have one, try to call NVC asking them about it, the court records is needed if god forbid when someone has been locked up or has a felony,just call them to be in the safe side.

Wh294 take a look at the previous page. It should have the list of codes. I looked at my husband's interview letter for reference to try to help you but it doesnt have an N and they didnt place an N in our list. Check well again ..andvi will continue searching for the answer.?

there is no definition for this letter and I didn't have any records maybe its by mistake

I understand it's frustrating, try to call them between 12-1 am in jordan time or 5-6 pm at US time and I recommend your spouse over there to do it, I think it's a mistake as long as there is no definition on the barcode page, you just need to be sure , according to what I see the embassy care only about the documents they requesting at thier website regardless what the interview letter has, plz see the link below:

I understand it's frustrating, try to call them between 12-1 am in jordan time or 5-6 pm at US time and I recommend your spouse over there to do it, I think it's a mistake as long as there is no definition on the barcode page, you just need to be sure , according to what I see the embassy care only about the documents they requesting at thier website regardless what the interview letter has, plz see the link below:

Hi just want to let you know that my husband got the marriage certificate and the family book and have sent it to amman embassy through Aramex and now waiting. I checked his Visa Status after the interview they still have Ready I guess that is a good thing because it hasnt changed to AP

Amen but again thank you for your help it helped us a lot.

You'Re so welcome , we all in the same situation and we are suffering of the same pain of separation from our spouse, anyone here would not save effort to give any help ,eventually we all need help, and it's awesome to share our experience with such a hardful process
